You know it must be eating at Brendan Schaub that Theo's podcast alone has more subs than the 3 or 4 he runs put together.

Good listen. The alcoholism conversation was an important one, people rarely hear that human side of Trump, but props to Theo for getting him to open up about his brother.

It did seem like Trump was concerned about Theo too. Every time he twitched in his chair, Trump had this expression on his face like “this mofo is lying about being clean.”

This has potential if it's in Theo's usual format. Get that gilf back on from the Shane Gillis episode too.

Yeah it was an interesting conversation. I thought it was pretty common knowledge that Trump’s brother died due to addiction but I could see how a lot of people wouldn’t know that.

That conversation was kind of a good allegory for Trump’s entire political career. He basically has zero understanding of addiction, its biological components, or how addicts have a different reaction to substances than non-addicts but he was still able to arrive at the correct conclusion. Which in the case of addiction, if you a biological predisposition to alcoholism like he does, you have to 100% completely abstain from any addictive substances.

I mean that as a compliment to Trump. He has a way of figuring out solutions to problems without a complete education on the subject.
