DOOMSDAY BUNKERS - where on Earth would you build yours if you could?

If you could pick ANY geographic location on earth to build a high tech doomsday bunker, with a water supply, provisions for years, etc, where would you build it and why?

As mentioned at 6:00 in the video below , the guy says New Zealand is a hot spot for ultra rich people building doomsday bunkers since it is 'geographically ideal'.

Considering the fact that there would be GIANT tsunami's from a planet-ending asteroid, I would say it might be safe to assume that New Zealand would be underwater shortly after the impact, not the best place IMO.

For me I'd probably pick a remote location in central Russia, with land on all sides of me for thousands of km, and ideally on the side of a large mountain, elevated position but underground bunker.

Where would you pick brahs and why?

In the event of nuclear war, everything but Argentina, New Zealand and Australia are toast for 10 years.

Temp drops of 40 degrees are likely.

Then the ozone is gone so you would have to live underground or completely covered.

I'm sure ultra rich people have the funds to build huge underground compartments that would be liveable in but for the average person hell no. I'd rather die than spend decades living off rations in a small little bunker with maybe 1-3 people.

I guess I didn't specify which kind of disaster, I was talking about asteroid chit in my OP post. My location would definitely change from Russia for a nuclear war bunker. New Zealand wouldn't be bad in that case.

This isn't even remotely true. The nukes we have today are nothing like what was dropped on Japan.

The safest country would also be Greenland, not the ones you listed. You want a country with no strategic significance.

Ozone isn't going to disappear. That's determine by the core which isn't going to cool down for a 10/20 year nuclear winter.

You would need a bunker with 10/20 years of food and solar panels to run some kind of heating system.

Probably somewhere remote in ACT, Australia. Would take me a while to dig out a bunker but ACT has hot summers, snow in winter, lots of fresh running rivers, mountains, rocks, huge vast land with an abundance of kangaroos, fish, pigs, deer and horses.

I have a 4x4 that has dual battery setup, rooftop tent, first aid, long range fuel tank, inbuilt water tank, UHF radio (long/short range), cooking, solar etc.

I could easily find somewhere to live. Only issue is time to create this.

Don't really see the point of the bunker unless you can keep the air filtration system running for at least 10 years.

Radiation and nuclear winter snow/dust filling and polluting the world nonstop. The least of your problems will be food/water.

New Zealand. It’s the last place that will be affected in a nuclear war. The Jewish elites all bought a ton of property there during Covid
