Anybody a fire fighter here? Spent the day working in a fire suit and it was brutal

At a work training for working in a natural gas engulfing environment, like going down into a hole working on a ruptured pipeline where suffocating or burning to death is worse case scenario. It was a hot summer day here in Florida and our fire instructor says it's probably 150+ degrees in our suits. It gives us 7 seconds to escape from fire if a pipeline ignites. We went for a run, did burpees, pulled a 240 pound dummy out of a hole, and made multiple pipeline repairs. Thought I was gonna pass out from heat. It was pretty brutal. I can't imagine being a fire fighter and basically wearing a snowmobile suit on a daily basis. Hoping I never have to put it on again after tomorrow….
