Texas brahs. Any issue with me gifting firearm to employee?

They passed a background prior to me hiring them, so know they aren't a felon.

Basic private party process where I hand them the gun and transaction over, right?

Private party transfer. As long as you know they are a Texas resident and non-felon you can just give it to them.

This. Even though a private transfer is legal, I'd never give/sell a gun without paperwork.
