Changed the battery in my iPhone 6s for lolz

My iPhone 6s from 2016 had a terrible battery and would drain completely in a matter of minutes.

Ordered a new battery, opened the phone, and replaced the old one just to see how it improves.

If you apply isopropyl alcohol 100% and just apply it the where the glue is, the battery just falls off.

Why? I love playing around with electronics and doing DIY.

Besides, my iPhone 6s is still functional. I would NOT be complaining if I was forced to use it.

I have a 6s I inherited from my late brother. I put a new battery in it recently to use as a backup phone if I need it. It works fine.

Yup. My 6s was slow, but started working perfectly after the new battery. If Apple started selling their official batteries under right to repair, it would change the game.

Although I'm about to get a new iPhone, it's time, that's the exact model of mine. I've switched batteries like twice already. It's starting to lumber down again, not even sure at this point if it's the battery or the sluggish old processor draining or something.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
