baked hamburgers in the oven and use bagels as the buns

ever baked a burger? it's pretty legit. 20 minutes at 375

used everything bagels as the buns. also pretty legit

no cleanup afterwards, no need to flip anything, just put aluminum foil on the rack below to catch the runoff and throw it out

Is 20 @ 375 from frozen or not? Preheat or no preheat?

I'm going to try baking burgers soon and will experiment on times but having a starting point to try is good.

preheat, defrosted

season as usual for your taste, but on the bottom side, pat the seasoning in a bit since you're not flipping

I'm going to bake them on a rack so they don't boil in the water and get soggy. Though the entire reason for trying is meal prep rather than taste. Efficiency is king, I guess I'll try 35 minutes, frozen, no preheat as a starting point.

When I bake ground beef I call it meatloaf...or stuff it with pepperjack and call it meatballs.

Baking a hamburger patty feels like a great way to get a dried out grey piece of trash. I'm not the expert at meat or grilling, but I like to sear meat. Scorch the outside, leave the inside juicier.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I did it with Hawaiian rolls to make sliders. Came out pretty good. Also turned the broiler on for a little bit to melt the cheese

Surprised there's no comments so far. This looks really good, srs. For burgers though, some would say to cook it longer (maybe 25 minutes next time?).

I assume it will work well, but it probably won't char the meat as well as a cast iron pan. It'd probably be good to hit it with a torch afterwards to develop the flavor.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
