But those are just fingers.
Do numbers really exist out there in the physical world?

So do numbers exist?
Also, Plato looks like a hobo.

Are you a 'human', 'one' man, or a zebullion collection of cells?

Is math really objective?
I mean… what if you have a retard who thinks 2+2 equals 5?

A number is actually just a word used to describe an amount. It's like asking if an adjective is real. We use words to describe complicated concepts and because all humans are pretty much the same, we can come to a general consensus regarding what those words mean. There are even nuanced situations regarding how words are pronounced and when they are said that changes the meaning completely, and because humans understand it, it complicates things even further.
Look at human language a bit more closely and you'll find God.

But is there an actual number 1 & 2 & etc in some metaphysical sense? In the same way is there an actual principal of Justice or Goodness or Evil, existing outside the human mind?
Not sure.

Numbers differ from adjectives such as bad and good, in that even two reasonable people may disagree on what is good and bad - but in the instance of dark vs night, only a lunatic would disagree that a sunny day at 3:00PM is day and a moon lit night at 2:00AM is night.
Same reason that two plus two is four, and not five. Human beings who are not crazy and have a normal and functioning perception will never say that two added to two is five, just as they cannot call daytime, night - it doesn't make sense.
