The Crow 2024, And Much Better Suggestions.

I just got done watching this, on streaming because I figured it would suck…and it did!

It was just like the new Alien movie in that there was next to no plot or interesting characters.

I loved the original as it featured bizarre characters, which reminded me of real criminals, and it had a gothic quality. It was cool at the time.

Also, Brandon Lee was very physical and gave the impression of a super being. The actor in this was dull and looked like an actor phoning it in, which is bizarre.

The Crow, is basically crazy because he came back from the dead and has amazing powers. The new character is a dullard who has powers and he's like…yeah…okay.

Keanu Reeves is overly emotional in films by comparison.

They had the opportunity to make a crazy action horror movie and managed to make it dull.

Same thing with Alien.

Next, I want to watch:

I have been enjoying Indian movies lately.

I watched Adipurash which is the story of Lord Rama. The CGI wasn't great, but the story is.

When there's evil on Earth Vishnu (God) appears as a messiah like person and Rama was one of those people. Kalki is another version of Vishnu and will appear when things become really horrible for humanity in the far future.

The same actor who played Rama plays Kalki, which I think is cool.

Many Chinese movies and now Indian films are much better than American ones and have good values.

This film is very enjoyable.

Star Wars got Jedi from Asian ideas about using Chi (spiritual energy) and in this film the main characters have it.

Donnie Yen plays a great guy accused of a crime and rejected by his friends. He doesn't miss a beat and sets out to clear his name. He's like a Jedi with amazing Chi powers and so do his enemies.

My only wish is that these films were dubbed as reading subtitles takes away from the visuals.

Adipurash is dubbed on netfilx and was a fun watch.

Lol.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

The one good thing I can say about The Crow is that it tried to be its own thing, a new interpretation of the OG comic and actually had a decent dark ******ce.

That's as much good as I can say about it.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

I wanted it to be different but it was a quiet and dull movie with some action.

A guy and his girl get murdered and then the guy finds he's returned from the dead as a super being.

If that doesn't generate drama, nothing is going to. However, the character in this was really dull, never really struggled with the ideas, and was blank faced the whole time.

In addition, we are in a world where magic is real and everyone is bland about that as well.

The first movie had bizarre characters like you find in real life crime situations. In the current movie everyone seemed like actors or extras and not characters.

I heard it would be bad and watched it for free, but still wish I would have watched something else, as I said in my post.
