I actually think that Bane from Dark Knight Rises is a really good villain - the reason that I think this, is because he's demented af, yet he actually thinks he's the good guy. No where in the film (at least according to my recollection) does he ever express that he's evil, but rather that he's punishing the wicked. Most villains and psychopathic people will brag about being evil, not Bane.

I actually liked Tom Hardy's portrayal of Bane. In The DKR, Bane isn't overly juiced up, he's just muscular. I actually liked everything about the Bane villain in that movie. I like how he used the same tactics to win the favour of the Gothamites that the bolsheviks and other communists would have (presumably) used when he convinced the crowd to set free the criminals from gotham prison.

Also, so many of Bane's quotes are epic af. As in they are actually true and philosophically sound from my perspective. Here's a list of my favourites:

- "Peace has cost you your strength, victory has defeated you".
- "The shadows betray you because they belong to me".
- "No one cared who I was until I put on the mask".
- "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear".
- "You don’t fear death, you welcome it. Your punishment must be more severe".
- Stock broker explains that there's no money at a stock exchange, bane responds with, "Really, then why are you people here"?

Yup..and you're totally on point about how he's not really a true villain..I wouldn't consider him an anti hero but somewhere in between. And yeah..Tom Hardy did an amazing job

Hell Razor is actually entertaining. The things with needles coming out of their heads (cenobites -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cenobite_(Hellraiser)) are metaphoric and represent demons. Basically some person in the movie summons them and they then torture that person for lulz.
Cenobites were once human, having transformed to their current state in their pursuit of gratification. Cenobites are so removed from their former humanity and so dedicated to exploring physical experience that they no longer distinguish between sensations of pleasure and pain. Humans who summon the Cenobites, either by accident or in hopes of experiencing pleasures unknown on Earth, are often taken to their home dimension and become "experiments" in discovering the limits of physical experience, resulting in torture for eternity.

Not really a villain IMO, but Cameron tries to portray him as one

I know that IT is actually a mini-series, but c'mon, its basically a 3 hour movie.
