Everyone in todays middle class will be considered lower class by 2034
The rate at which total wealth trickles to the top has doubled since the 90's, at which point it was already quite bad.
68% of all wealth is held by the top 10%
To be considered 10%, your earnings need to be at 204k/yr currently.
By 2034 at the current rate
75% of wealth with be held by top 10%
To be considered 10% you need to be at 247k/yr
The middle class cutoff will be 105k in 2034
Anything below that, will be lower class (nearly poverty)
However, cost of living may not change as rapidly, which, if true, could mean less $$$ to set aside to get by.
Not being in the top 10% is not a very good life.
