YHWH is the name of The Creator. God has a slightly different meaning IMO. It's very nuanced, but a god can just be a spiritual entity who one idolises. Hence why in the bible it says "thou shall not have any gods before me". These days there are celebrities and musicians who people idolise and refer to as 'gods'.

So YHWH is always the creator, but not always a person's God.

Humans have the potential for good and evil, if they didn't they'd just be robots - the choice between good and evil is fundamental for the human being to have free will. It appears that the only reason anything has any meaning at all in this life, is due to the possible dire consequences of the abuse of free will and the potential of evil.

Something I've contemplated is that God Himself has the potential for evil, He just does good every time - in essence, God is good, because he chooses to be good, not because He's a robot of some sort.

good and bad are concepts invented by society. For example, green is seen as good, red as bad, laws are human-made etc. Without society, we would follow instinct rather than these man-made rules
