I'll still enjoy the ol' fashioned chamomile and sleepy time teas, especially if you put a bit of splenda/honey/lemon in it. But other than that my only source of tea is Arizona Diet Green Tea, love the stuff, can drink it daily. Some stores have their own brand of diet sweetened green tea w/ ginseng and honey, but it's never as good.

i bet tea isn't actually well liked, or at least how I'm making it. literally tastes grim. maybe I'll get a different kind of teabag and try that, otherwise., I'm going to have to do hot chocolate for a hot drink other than coffee (non caffeine)

Make it with skimmed milk and put the milk in before the water.

The type of milk you use makes an enormous difference.

i used semi skimmed milk. i'll need to identify what these teabags are, luckily they've run out so i'll get Yorkshire Tea/Typoo or a well liked brand tomorrow

The fat content of the milk has a huge effect on the flavour. With skimmed, the tea will taste more of "tea" that it does with semi.

As far as brands go, you can't go too far wrong with Tetley or PG.

whoa, I thought full fat 'blue top' was the best for tea. i much prefer blue top in general. are there any tea brands you avoid? (also do you like Earl Grey)?

Earl Grey? Pfft. I grew up on a council estate lad, I don't drinkponseytea; I drinkman'stea. If it's not a brand you'd find in a greasy spoon, I'm not drinking it.

You'd have been beaten up for drinking Earl Grey when I was a kid.

Full leaded milk (blue top) washes out the flavour of the tea, which is why it's milky and tasteless.

Good for you op. Tea is for fgts anyway. Drink coffee like a man. Unless you’re sick or drinking high sugar sweet ICED tea.

god damn. yeah people hate on Earl Grey, it's awful comapred to regular tea. but i could still drink it. I have no idea why whenever I make tea it sucks, but if someone else makes it for me , its' delicious. I'm used semi skimmed at the moment and I still don't care for it, so not 100% sure if skimmed with make a huge difference but I'll try. I think it's more the tea bags, these have no taste to them

Love tea. Good and good for you. Tea bags do make a difference, in that they are filled with toxins and microplastic BS. If you're going to do tea, do loose leaf.
