Fukkin lol at two people being a trend
That being said, we should walk barefoot more. Most shoes are bad for your feet aside from external protection. These people are pussies for hiding it instead of owning it.

Honestly it is much more comfortable, and it would be great to be able to just go barefoot (with or without socks) more often, but it's just those random dangers that are really a significant deterrent. A broken piece of glass, a rusty hinge sticking off something, an ant hill...
You could **** yourself up for months from one mishap. Just not really worth the extra little bit of daily comfort IMO.

Really wouldn't care if women were allowed to be barefoot. But men should keep their dogs in a doghouse.

my feet are flat AF. Being barefoot or wearing shoes that are too flat kind of hurts tbh. I tried those minimalist shoes for a while because I read they were supposed to strengthen arches. It actually made mine worse, in my personal experience

This is such a recent phenomenon bread out of luxury..
Can you imagine doing construction in these?
I could see how going overboard may be detrimental - like using your muscles less.. but imma doubt some foam is the sole reason for it

It's stupid.
People invented shoes just like they invented gloves, and it's for a good reason.
I used to do a lot of bike riding around Philly and would relentlessly get flats. The streets are loaded with glass and shards of metal. So, there's no way you could walk around barefoot unless you live in some clean rural type of place.
On top of that, walking on pavement is not natural for humans because it doesn't absorb impact and is bad for your feet and joints.

toe first to avoid damaging the foot by stepping on something they shouldn't of.
people didn't start walking heel first until shoes that could properly protect the feet were invented.

Every summer someone does a video where they fry an egg on the street or something.
When you're so dumb you question why shoes were invented, you deserve what you get.

That being said 99.9% of shoe designs are ****. The modern shoe is a mild form of japanese foot binding.
The fact that most shoes have arch support is troubling. Arch support is only for flat footed genetic failures

I’d be wearing my steel toe boots in NYC,never mind barefoot lol . You gotta be some kind of stupid I swear .
Couldn’t imagine having my feet bleed from hypodermics and chit .
There are benefits to going barefoot . I read one time grounding yourself is a health benefit apparently. I’ll just wear fking shoes ftw

All throughout college I was an extremely broke college soccer player. I wore these indoor shoes I had everywhere. Any training, running or workouts outside of practicing on the field (wore spikes obviously), I was wearing those indoor shoes.
They were basically like wrestling shoes. The sole was just thin flexible rubber. You could roll the shoe up practically. Would do indian runs, timed 3 miles outside on the roads in them and other sprint work in offseason with team training. My feet got strong that they felt indestructible. Never got blisters, never got foot injuries, and even bad tackles that would have me out for weeks with a sprained ankle or ligaments had me back within 2 days of healing. My tendons became like iron.
But I haven't worn them since and can tell my feet are much weaker. I just don't like the look of any barefoot shoes either tbh so don't want to wear them. If only they made those old indoor shoes I had still.

Or you could just wear vibrams.
LMAO at experts saying you'll have foot problems without shoes.

I used to wear Vibram FiveFingers back in high school some people made fun of me for wearing toe shoes but it was actually a very interesting experience at the time. Next to NO support tho so make sure if you’re not a heel striker if you’re new to barefoot shoes srs or you’ll f your chit up
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.
