The real reason China and North Korea are about to EXPLODE INTO A GOLDEN AGE
95% of China has been roughly 60 years, on average, behind the U.S. in terms of its timeline.
When we hit the year 2000, Much of China was living like it was 1940 in the US.
That said, in the year 2030 (6 years from now) Much of china will be on par with 1970's USA, and currently this is ringing very true with much of China in a similar 60's vibe (white - t shirts, sunglass, being "cool") lots of big artists such imports of outside entertainment cease, the boom of the tech, and the average china citizen owning a PC and tv set.
And we all know the U.S. was way scarier in the 70's as a unit than it is today.
NK on the other hand, has been roughly 80 years behind and will be coming up on the 50's (baby boomer time).
Which means an explosion of its middle class is on the horizon, and an inevitable war with SK. They're also mimicing the U.S. timeline by being a seller of arms to russia.
Meanwhile, the U.S. is hitting its expiration date sometime around 2060 and will cease to exist by 2070.

China has too many mouths to feed in order to catch up to the number of US middle class.
If you look at it as a tree, the US has more branches that can support a lot of leaves. China has alot of leaves on one branch but not enough branches. So if one branch gets wiped out, the tree still has a high surviveability rate. Whereas if China's branch gets wiped out, it will see more issues.

China has an extremely aging populatation and will be in a world of pain over the next couple of decades. Population is predicted to drop from a billion down to 600 mil. That is going to cause serious issues for them.

There's no middle class in north Korea
It's the elite ruling class, then the poor, then the thousands doing slave labor
