Just thought I drop back in here and LOL at this thread one more time.
Beyond the ridiculous trolling (intentionally or otherwise) in this thread, I think it's very informative. There are a lot of younger miscers on this board and I think it's actually educational for them to see the various points of view when it comes to the topic of housing, where to buy, weighing profit versus lifestyle, etc.
I personally love where I live and am very comfortable with my situation both financially and personally, but I could easily see how others may prefer to live in places where the lifestyle is greatly different than the hustle and bustle of LA.

Wow this thread is entertaining.
I lived in Redondo Beach for about 2 years when I was out of school in my first job. Was paying way too much ($2400/month) for a condo but very nice views and beach right there.
Now I move to Temecula and love it and it's a lot cheaper and not liberal

Lots of foreign money buying up RE in metro cities in US and Canada. They need to dump/launder money out of the reach of their governments so they buy up property here like crazy. Lot of the property will sit vacant. I hoped the bubble would burst and those *******s would lose half their money. But they don't care since it's ill gotten money and there really isn't any bubble. Cash buyers so no loans to default on. Unless the rest of us trying to keep pace with them decide to default LOL.

wonder what a 350k house looks like in 2019.
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn
"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."
