And we all know the likiliehood of this relationship working out past the first semester of college. I can almost guarantee she'll end up breaking up with this dude and marrying some well off Chad by the end of college.

Given most people have responded to how stupid this is on the side of the girl, I'd argue you also have to be either a naive, uninformed, safe-space, 1st world cuck to donate to this or a immoral, self-righteous, pretentious fool.

The approximate average cost you could donate to pretty much know you will save a life that will otherwise be lost is about $3,500 USD currently. At a current level of 35K, that money could have quite literally saved 10 lives. Not only this, she is drawing this money from people who also have the drive to donate to causes but more importantly the means to do that. I'd argue these people are the worst of the bunch. We could talk about people spending personal money for personal value and the ethics there - but in this case we are talking about people willing and able to part with the resources and allocating it to this while quite literally it could save lives.


If they don't know that there are much better uses for that money, IE- the idea that people are dying and these resources could save them, than they are ignorant of the world around them. The only difference is this sloots plight is salient to them while people dying across the world is not. It is a failing of this sloots morals to not only ask for it but for people to be so ignorant as to blindly throw money at it.

If they did know, that is quite possibly the worst of it. They are quite literally doing the equivalent of letting people perish in a burning down house to instead save the possessions of someone they know/know about instead - maybe because the person who owns the possessions has a louder voice, or can be more salient to the people required to "save" them but regardless there is no difference on a moral level. They have the resources to throw at this as demonstrated and yet choose this of all options? GTFO.
