Played Heist League harder than any league I've played before (even tho I almost never actually went into Heist cuz fuk that chit).

Ended up with the strongest character I've ever had. Super tanky Blight/Bane Pathfinder. Had the most roided out Mana flasks with Indigion giving insane mana/hp regen with 100% uptime, also 100% uptime on quicksilver flask so was always on that zoom zoom time.

Was breezing through 600+ depth Delve, smashing Simulacrums, buying people's Sirus's for 2ex and smashing them all day long and running super juiced T16 maps with zero issues. I could literally eat Sirus death beams and run into the middle of one of his chaos storms and survive

Really wanted to try that build in this league due to it's new late game content, but just couldn't bring myself to commit that much time again.

Had a 100exalt Champ/Cyclone character that didn't even come close to the power my Blight Tank had. Was ridic.

My cyclone slayer was in red maps before he died the first time just after they redid area dmg and cyclone. I had some 60 passives to spend bc I didn’t know what to do. That’s how strong it was. Now any build I make gets to maps and I gotta think **** over bc it explodes

Yeah, same.

I did enjoy the mechanic, but damn the game was stale for me this league outside of that. Probably just played too many leagues recently.

I'm on softcore so doesn't really matter, but died in a heist yesterday at 99% xp at level 96. Fukin raged because I was like 3 monsters away from leveling lol.

Interesting interaction is you can run two of the same spell on a six link with unleash. Just alternate the uses. This gives more damage than having another support until you hit 4 casts per second. It also has the benefit of being less mana intensive.

Yeah, I have to agree, this league sucks.

Of the 10 people I game with, all but 2 have quit this league as of yesterday.

Still, this league has lasted longer than any D3 league which usually just a few hours before people quit.

The league mechanic is... fine? Got some decent gear for leveling up with it.

I kind of like the difficulty increase, I almost died in Act 1 several times.

Hate the flask and movement changes more than anything else...

that's my league starter, once again. But for once the jewel isn't just a couple chaos, it's like 30c?!? wtf

I've been working every day since league start so only on act 5 because I only have an hour or so each night to play, and am surprised the jewel is costing so damn much.

Yeah running skele mages (or trying to).
Figured with all the nerfs it'd make the market wonkey for certain builds. Bunch of necro and trap/miner gear gonna be more expensive this league.

holy chit the changes for this league look so good. So many QOL changes.

only 4 regions, 100 maps now so easier to get to atlas passive end game quicker. Reworked skill tree which in theory should be more build enabling.

Super hyped for this league

I hated a lot of what Expedition league brought... including the mechanic which just bogged down my fuking mapping.


That being said, it was my most successful league as far as currency generation went. Started with a Skeleton Mage necro I made for about 10 exalts and used it to farm another 50 before switching to a Forbidden Rites CoC Occultist. I went to the moon (For me) with that character and ended up investing around 200 exalts into it and just shredding everything in the game. Was super juicing with maps that cost about 2ex per map and making bank. Sadly the league kind of died out economy wise and I couldn't really upgrade it anymore because the gear just wasn't out there to purchase near the end, so I'm sittin on 150exalts to get dropped into my Standard league.

Gonna dick around this week in Standard and see what I want to League Start. I'm super hyped for Scourge, all the changes seem great.


Might be starting some variation of Toxic Rain. I want something Zoomy to knock out the Atlas and some early Heists before gearing a new "Main" character for the league.

Might have to hop into another guild tho. Need some activity. Think we only had like 3 people online for most of this last league and I don't know that any of us ever played with each other =p
Maybe this league's hype will bring some more of us in.

What kind of builds you boyos gonna start with?

I'm leaning towards a Toxic Rain champ possibly, or maybe a pathfinder. I want to knock out maps/atlas fast/cheap and then work on a second character for progressing to end game.

Hoag or holy relic.

Hoag will have +3 levels this league plus can use the new linked system for a point investment. I think I have it down to 3 points, but need to finish my POB. It also has the buffed wither in it.

end game content: PoE by a mile and it's not even close


love both games, but you can pretty much play PoE forever, whereas D2 after awhile you get bored of running the same farming routes over and over
