Apples and Oranges to be honest. "Highest Possible Quality Partner" a hot bimbo sloot in her early 20s is not more of a quality partner than a down to earth woman in her early 30s with a successful career. The bimbo may be a better fuk and more physically attractive, but that didn't seem to be the question.

If you only value a woman based on Physical aspects, then yes their peak years would be the 20s. Same can be said of men, their drop-off in the 30s isn't as drastic as females, but on average their prime years are also 20s.

You're claiming that men's value increases with age, but only because they should be increasing their monetary wealth during this time. Well women believe it or not, can also be increasing their monetary wealth as they age.

I'm saying that if you graph "attractiveness to the other sex" vs age, you get two bell curves. One for women and one for men. The bell curve for men is shifted to right on the age scale and the downward slope isn't as steep, but neither is the upward slope, compared to women. That's it.

If we define "best opportunity" as the period of time where the highest number of the opposite sex judge you to be attractive, then for women it's somewhere in the 19-24 range. For men, it's somewhere in the 26-32 range. That doesn't mean that a woman at 28 can't still be attractive or a man at 38 can't be either... it just means that the process of them being removed from consideration by some has already begun.

By the same token, if you get someone who was married 10+ years and then divorced, when they find someone new they struggle not to slip straight back into day-to-day domesticity, rather than actually romancing the person.

If you're used to living one way it's tough to do things differently. I think people - both men and women - like the woman in the OP would find it tough to settle down for that reason. That's what I've seen, anyway.

I keep hearing miscers say this but I’m 25 and after actively searching for a good quality man since the age of 18, I’ve just now found one this past year.
