I don't know. I mean, having a relationship with another male is gay I guess. My boyfriend and I are quite heteronormative I guess. Even though we're both 'gay' there's quite a difference between us. He likes twinks like me who are less masculine than himself and only ever tops. I'm the opposite, so it's not really very 'equal'. What we both can't quite understand are gay guys who go for clones of one another.

Yes I'm out in real life. Not especially hard coming out as I was 23 then and my Mum had died and she may have been more hostile. As it was my Dad was actually gay too, so it turns out, and I spent more time helping him come out than I did myself.

I honestly don't think lots of society is openly hostile to gays now, contrary to what we often here. Most people are happy to let us live our own lives; they are just, rightly in my view, concerned when militant anythings try and socially engineer life in one way.
