It's wild brah. You'll hear about how fast they grow up fromeveryoneto the point where its annoying but its so true and still blindsides you no matter how ready for it you think you are. It’s awesome though because newborn babies are kinda sh#t. My eldest (nearly 2) gets more fun by the day, can’t wait for my three month old to get to that age.

It was the same for me and my wife. Twice in one weekend without pulling out and bam I'm part of the dad crew.

My son turned 3 in March and has taken an interest in working out with me. He's usually outside with me when I'm doing calisthenics but until last week he never really cared much and would just jump on the trampoline or find a good stick to play with. This entire week as soon as I get home from work he starts asking to work out with me. I've been having him do burpees since he always has too much energy anyway lol. He can't do a real push up very well but the rest isn't half bad. Actually happened on our vacation we took for our first anniversary, possibly even on the actual day of, lol. Definitely makes you feel for those that really want it and struggle though. I'd much rather a happy "accident" like ours than have to go through all that doubt and angst.

Hello dads, my daughter is gonna start driving next year. What car would you suggest from experience, obviously i'm looking at all the goats like civic , corolla and camry's . What do you guys suggest ? Budget around 5K (+1K) give or take

When we decided to start trying we booked a huge Mediterranean cruise as a sort of celebration of the end of the era of "just the two of us". We ended up getting pregnant like a week later and had to cancel the trip lol.

Seeing the heartbreaking struggles of friends and family, if our biggest challenge was not being able to take a trip, we feel blessed.

Civic or Corolla. If she wants an SUV, then go with a Honda CR-V. They are entry level compact SUV but a decent one will run you 9-10k.

I'd go either Camry or Accord if it were my daughter. Those are all great cars but the bigger ones are a tad bit safer. Also stay away from belt driven CVT transmissions. I don't know if the others have them but I know some of the 4cyl Accords from 2012-2017 do and they need to be serviced at around the 100k mark and no one does it because its like $2k so those transmissions end up failing. At some point these car companies need to figure out that Americans don't pay for expensive maintenance and engineer around it. That's why the Japanese cars are considered so good. Change the oil and those things used to last forever. It was a mistake trying to move away from that

Enjoy the newborn time, it goes by so fast.

I'm the same boat with having a new driver. Oldest son finished drivers ed this last summer and has been driving on a learner's permit since. Feels like yesterday we brought him home for the hospital.

I'd rep for the advice and positive vibes, but I'm on spread with all of you.

I tried to get my teenager behind the wheel last summer and she refused. Barely mentioned it this year.

I didn't want to learn either but my mom insisted and she was right.

I was offering to take her out on a big parking lot to practice just basic start/stop/turn. Drove to one once and tried to give her the keys. May need to choose a day with nice weather and wait her out.

Land is divided into 1 square mile blocks and roads are all two lanes with a 50 mph speed limit and minimal traffic. Closest town has two stop lights (next closest has none). I don't know what your exact situation is, but I feel for the parents trying to train kids to drive in the city.

Our little man had his 2 month checkup today, happy to say that all is well and good as expected! My wife said he is a little extra fussy from the shots, but she is giving him all the cuddles he can handle to make up for it.

Bro I'm so glad our first was a boy. No daughters meme, but I feel like if we decide to have another and it's a girl we will be far more prepared to handle that chit with it being our second go-round, plus she would have a big brother to protect her.

I wouldn't mind having a daughter but I am glad I had a son first too. If girls have older brothers guys their age tend to be more respectful to them

Had a son first, too. Was a bit of a relief because I wanted at least one to hunt and fish with and carry on the family name. Had a daughter next and that was good, too, because I always wanted one of each. Youngest son just started kindergarten today. Half-day program so not that big of a change, but I've been texting my wife and she's a little out of sorts today.

What's up Dads! I have a 1 year old girl...loving every minute of it.

Still getting used to be being a dad...guess that's weird to say after being a father for over a year. Working my a** off so my wife can stay at home, really thinking about trying for #2

Makes you see things so much more different. With everything going on in the world I pay so much more attention to everything.

Wife and I were chilling on the couch a couple nights ago with little man, out of nowhere he just starts busting out with these little giggles, and we were able to keep the giggle train going for a solid 5 minutes. Lemme tell you boyos something, if seeing your baby smile and giggle for the first time doesn't absolutely melt your heart like steel beams in a jet fuel fire, you have no heart to melt.

Both of ours slept thru the night by 6 months. Even before that, as their bellies get bigger they can be full longer and there are at least less overnight feedings? It's coming soon bro you've got this.

Two is the best, and ours are the same gender. I'd have liked a little boy but having two girls means they are best friends AND they are already choosing to mostly play with each other instead of us (not that we don't get in on the fun) which is a game changer.

Any of you guys ever get walked in on while banging mom?

About two weeks ago, my wife and I were fooling around in the AM when we woke up. Kids are usually awake around 6-7 and go downstairs and do their thing. Step daughter asked mom "Are you OK? I heard you going " oww oww oww" in bed. ****in lol'd hard AF while my wife tried explaining that one. Wife goes " Oh he was just tickling me!" ....and she goes " He wouldn't stop?!"......
