And now unless Michigan or FSU choke no SEC team in the playoffs probably. If one chokes Bama is the next team in. If two choke Georgia would also get back in I figure. That's pretty much how it lines up from here.

I think I either want both Michigan and FSU to choke or neither of them to choke. I can stomach watching UGA in there winning but Bama can f*ck off so the last thing I want to see is only one of them choke letting Bama in but leaving UGA out.

Yep that's basically it right there.... if you want to extend it for up to the minute rankings Bama is 5th and UGA is 6th. Michigan and/or FSU both tumble back behind UGA with a loss and the line moves up. In FSU's case a loss will probably drop them behind Ohio State too but that doesn't really matter.

I wish that was the lineup. Have a feeling Mich is going to get lucky and get to play FSU though. Not cool to get an easier game like that. With tonight’s game FSU should get booted imo, but I’m afraid they won’t.

Here’s the problem with cutting FSU

They looked unimpressive beating Boston College. Unimpressive beating Clemson. Unimpressive beating Duke. And Miami.

And they had Travis in all of those games. In fact Louisville is their toughest opponent since the opener against LSU.

If you’ve had them in this whole time and suddenly you’re telling me they’re out because they looked unimpressive I’ve got some bad news that makes no sense. They haven’t looked impressive this entire year so why have they been top 4 this whole time?

Screwing Texas over after a head to head with Bama would also make the committee look like complete fools. Might as well not play any games at all and just pick who we think are the best based on paper assessments.

It’s pretty obvious who the 4 will be. Bama completely screwed over the SEC from being represented. Fall to another major conference champion then run through everyone in your own conference eliminating them. Good job ass holes.

I don’t know man. They’ll probably play Washington who hasn’t won by more than 10 points against anyone since September.

The entire field is now watered down aside from Michigan.

It should be 1. Michigan vs. 4. Ohio State neutral site rematch

2. Bama vs. 3. Oregon

I would say Georgia is technically better than Oregon but there’s less justification for a rematch since they already lost on a neutral site to Bama so it’s different than the OSU situation.

We’re going to have 4 of the best 5 teams missing the playoffs basically. Washington has at least earned theirs by dumping Oregon twice so I’m less upset about them being in there though even though I don’t think they’re the better team. They should have been the weakest but suddenly they’re the second strongest.

Personally I vote for a consolation bracket where would could at least know the champion between UGA, OSU, Bama and Oregon. Even if not the official champion in our hearts we could know this was the real playoffs.
