Obviously, I don't fish much. In high school, one of my friends would fish a bunch and always invited me. If we were going to the river, I'd decline because we'd never catch anything and it just sucked. If we went to a pond, sure. Throwing a hook with a cricket in for a bream or bass was fun.

11/10 fun was going camping on the river. We find a spot, set up camp, get drunk, then go at night. He has a boat with a bunch of lights for bow fishing. He'd shoot them, I would stand on the front of the boat with the trident of Neptune and stab fuking snakes and carp and catfish.

Stay mad. **** a snake. The carp lived happily ever after. 3 catfish cleaned and fried over campfire in a cast iron will not kill the populace. Bich.

Right now? Just for plinking? Not so much. Considering for one, the start-up cost, then how much of your time is worth, you MAY save a couple cents per round.

I just bought re-manufactured 9mm in brass at .18c round. That includes ship. Hell, at my local walmart, I was buying new 9mm Winchester Forged in steel casing for .12c a round (but they went quick, and doubt if they getting more instock). Both are great for plinking.

BOttom line, you don;t get into reloading for saving money. You do it to have a steady supply of ammo when there isn't a steady supply on the market.
Thats what I figured but thought I'd ask. I reload my 308 match which does have a bit of a savings to it but it is more for the hobby and experimenting with different loads for my rifle.

Decided to browse around the gun shop last night before this weekends upcoming local gun show. Winded up leaving with a new toy.

Smith & Wesson M&P9c Compact Size w/Crimson Trace Laser Grips

Price: $775
Caliber: 9mm
Weight: 21.07 oz
Length: 6.7"
Capacity: 12 rounds

It hasnt been long at all yet today but so far the carry fit seems real comfortable. Just what I wanted for the end of summer; something a bit smaller then full size but still with a good capacity. Ill switch to something full size in the next couple of months as it gets cooler out and its easier to conceal under a jacket/flannel

I haven't shot my guns in months. It's pathetic. I have been dry firing a lot more though. It's actually quite fun with my pocket pro.

Morning, guys.

SF, you paid way too much. Local prices are always a bit high, but a base M&Pc should go in the $450-$500 range. Without the gripz of course.

This . . . never go by what the MSRP is on the manufacturer's website to determine what a good deal is. Shop around online when buying. There's almost always a competitive price somewhere: Grabagun, Bud's, KY Gun Co (sometimes, LOL), Palmetto State Armory, etc. Gun shows are notoriously potato on prices because the general public doesn't seem to know you can buy online.

But . . . now that you have something, shoot the hell out of it.
