I did this routine faster than the 110 deadstop pull up routine, which was shocking! This routine had 90 extra reps (push ups), but it did not feeling as tiring as the 110 deadstop pull ups! 🤔🤔🤔

Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Another workout idea, if You are into trying different things, is doing 1-2-3-4-5+1+1... up to how many you can. My best is 21. The pauses got pretty long after 15.

Also, thanks for sharing your workout idea. How much rest do you take in between? So you'll do one rep, rest, then two reps, rest, then three reps, rest, etc., till you cannot do a set without dropping from the bar, right? Curious as to the rest. Going up to 21 certainly sounds like an impressive feat. Nice work!

New PR for chest-to-bar pull-ups (at least top-of-chest-to-bar). Trying my best to keep leg movement to a minimum:
https://youtu.be/6LtpdPEVqOE
Also, just heard from Guinness World Records that my attempt for "Most Pull-ups in One Minute" from back in December was approved at 51!

I haven't done my research in this thread, so my apologies if it gets asked often, but are there many taller guys with impressive pull up feats? I know that it's beneficial to be lighter, but I assume shorter helps as well. I'm 6'1'' 230 at the moment, so I'll have to lose weight to get half way decent at them again... I max out at about 8-9 at the moment, unfortunately.
My MCL is flaring up lately so I want another focus... Knee pain makes most lifts difficult/impossible.
Edit: 6'7'' bro above me!

Anyone doing one armed pull ups? I can do at least 25 strict pull ups, 5*50kg/110 lbs and 1*70 kg/155 lbs weighted chins but I struggle to get more than one one armed pull up/chin up at 75 kg/165 lbs bodyweight. Any tips on how to progress? Want to be able to do at least 5 some day.
PS: you guys in this thread are beasts btw.

I would also work in lat-pull-down for reps or hanging rows (with heels planted on the ground) to add volume later in the workouts when you can't do anymore pull-ups. If you're a bigger guy and getting 14 in a row, you probably have a lot of strength. To get more reps, you need to improve the endurance, which means higher volume at similar motion where you're pulling less than your bodyweight. That's ****ing awesome brah
