Looks like the media may have exaggerated a little for Florida, but Haiti is getting it bad. Almost 600 people dead.

Pray for all our Florida brahs, looks like things will be alright by this first pass, hopefully the second pass won't be so bad either, and who knows what Nicole is up to.

You are legit retarded if you think they exaggerated. This is still hours from even being bad yet. Especially for the Jacksonville area. It may have missed the Southern portions of Florida, but it's still going to have a large impact.

We Florida brahs do not need advice. Why do you think we don't prepare for hurricanes? We are so used to it that it is a joke.

I said a little bit. They told most of Florida to evacuate, and it looks like it's only going to brush the coastline.

They said it would be worse, as if most of Florida and the east coast was doomed, and it doesn't appear so. It's a hurricane, of course things will be destroyed, people are going to die, but it doesn't appear as bad as they thought it was going to be.

They were expecting to be another Hurricane Katrina, but it doesn't seem to be turning out that way. I know people in Orlando now who are going to work tomorrow, when they were previously told to evacuate.

First reported death in the US.

Local officials confirmed the death of a 58-year-old St. Lucie County woman who suffered cardiac arrest overnight. The woman made an emergency call at 1:20 a.m. Friday, but this came after operations were suspended because of the hurricane.

653,000 without power.

Lol wat? She had a heart attack... nothing to do with the storm....

over 600,000 ppl die of heart disease every year in America... Can we blame those on the hurricane too?
