I know you were going to say that. Research is always in flux which is why I just did the tests myself. At this point, I am very much convinced that post simple carb weakness is most certainly not a myth.
Hasn't GI been largely undermined at this point? I don't keep track.
I'm sure you would, but they're not the best source of long-term readily available energy. That is reserved to carbs that are more complex. Like burning coal instead of wood.

Alright, confess... which one of you was this?
A cyclist allegedly defecated in his own hands and threw it at a car windscreen after he was beeped for cycling "scarily" in the street.

The "vile and disgusting" incident took place in London Road, Gloucester, according to a driver's ******** post, Gloucestershire Live reported.

They wrote on the Spotted Gloucester page: "To the man who poo'd in his hands and lobbed it at my windscreen because i beeped at him down London Road that is vile and disgusting i beeped and pulled over because you were riding your cycle scarily."

Dozens of people have shared the post and left comments in response to the bizarre attack including one man who said he too was targeted with excrement.

Copying in a friend, he wrote: "This scumbag threw poo at me Aswell"

You really want to do this?

In the most simple terms consider if you will you choice of gasoline at a service station. You typically have 2 and sometimes 3 choices. Although they're all gasoline, your engine will run more efficiently on the premium fuel than it will on the basic type.

There is a difference in quality that your engine can detect. Likewise, the difference in carbohydrates your body can feel.

Sure they may all be carbohydrates with the same number of calories, but they're not all created equally nor are they assimilated the same by the body -- there are other process that occur. You can extend this analogy to many things. This is what IIFYM doesn't tell you.

Both INTENSITY and DURATION matter in this context.

There is MORE to the equation for the population that just simply stating "IIFYM" as is mainly preached on these boards, there ARE a select few of us who benefit from Glycemic index.

Why do you think chain drops will be an issue? That's when it doesn't shift correctly and the chain come off, right?

I want to get a Mtb in a few months too. Mind sharing how much that ran you?
$600. I'm no expert but seemed like a good deal. The guy used to work at a bike shop and had upgraded components. I googled the fork and just that brand new goes for $400

Hey brahs, I purchased my first bike (Trek) and took it out for a nice ride yesterday, but now my anus feels like it's been through a gang bang. Should I get a new seat or is this what's to be expected?

Welcome along man.

Allow them cheeks to get used to the saddle and invest in some proper cycling attire.

Expect it.

Rife it for a few weeks and if it persists THEN buy a new saddle, are you using padded shorts?

Yah that's not a bad deal. Be wary of pricing mtb forks. CO's play a lot of games, I got my 29'er fork retail $850 for $300 brand new.

Is it tubeless? If not go tubeless.

Chain drops has nothing to do with shifting. It's when the trail gets ruff the chain slap will pop the chain off.

Penetrated tyre and then tube.

Span the tyre round and found a triangle shard of white glass wedged in the tyre. Squeezed the tyre and pulled it out.

It made a hole in the tyre that when squeezed as flat, it showed. I marked the area. Once pumped up it seems to not show the hole.

Is the tyre now fuked?

It's normal until you tighten up your angus. Don't get a new seat. Padding comes from the shorts/bibs so get some nice bibs.

Damn, yeah that sucks. And also, yeah, unfortunately, time to toss the tire. Some might say to use it for a while but when it flats again and you hit the road at 30mph....

Endura's are good. But generally speaking, I usually recommend beginners go in and try on shorts first especially if it's your first pair of bibs.

FWIW: I own several pairs of enduras (don't wear them anymore) but they're great starters!
