Question for you bros about Zen. What are your thoughts on the fundamentals?

I moved funds into Zen on GOAT's hunch, it was purely a speculative move based on the likelihood of being the PBC call. I know he has a really good track record, but I'm curious, have any of you done a really in depth analysis of what it is, what it offers, and why it's likely to emerge a winner / high market cap coin? Obviously I want it to moon and see everyone betting on it make retirement money, I'm just curious if we are all in it on the PBC call alone. Seems like alot of you are really long on the coin vs just looking to 2-3x it on a pump. Really curious why this coin vs any other promising project e.g. IOTA or Monero (I get that they aren't small cap like Zen, just what came to mind)
We are all gunna make it

Stop losses locked and loaded in the green. I don't know why the misc lets emotions get in the way of making money when it comes to BCH

Edit: 500 BCH buy order on Bittrex at .184

Are you running trailing stops or just pure stoploss? Curious how tight people are running the trailing stops. Im thinking 100USD might even be too tight if she starts bear trapping hard

Last weekend I got burned overnight when my stop losses hit and then it bounced back up so I'll be keeping them pretty loose

Time for some more BCH speculation.

The newest theory seems to be that this is the second part of the attack plan (or maybe the reserve plan since the first one failed when Bithumb went down)

I found this pastebin
https://pastebin.com/aiAE30S2

According to that guy the miners will keep mining BTC until the difficulty adjustment. This should mean that BTC difficulty will go up while BCH difficulty will keep going down. Right after that they will switch to BCH and we will see a similar scenario as last time (not as bad though - the new DAA should make both coins more stable).

I checked, and it seems weird indeed, BCH is 1.5X more profitable right now but still only about 5% hashpower is mining it...
I also read that ViaBTC had offered miners the option to automatically switch chains, but turned it off a few hours ago.

Then I also found this wallet
https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin%20...xHsiWEmeYE8a7k

Who the hell is this whale and why does he keep buying BCH every day? Not a single BCH has yet been sold from that wallet.

Finally, I have seen more Tether FUD today than ever before, about how it is supposedly "fake and used to pump BTC" probably causing many to get scared and sell.

Will be interesting to see what happens.

I posted that pastebin text a couple of days back and I know some people read it then too. It's pretty interesting and it actually seems to be happening. Being that BCC went all the way down to .1 earlier, people are already up nearly 100%.

I would say a majority of people buying btc know nothing about crypto and are just following the masses and FOMOing in.

I see haven't been checking the thread for a few days. Yeah who knows how this will play out, but I have a feeling this won't be a relaxing weekend.

Probably what gave some dickheads the idea to band together and alternately pump BCC and BTC to farm the new money

meanwhile NEO might be picked as the blockchain allowed for ICOs in china

That would explain a lot with neo pump today. That would be huge too.

How do you set a stop loss on bittrex? I've got it conditional on the amount to sell it but why do you have to put in the last bid or ask price?

Misc help me double my money, I need a new car which is about 10k usd.
Would anyone recommend doing something different? Apart from just selling GVT at a loss and losing 0.01btc in the space of 30 minutes with bch...

Tempted to put it all in BTC like I should have done from the start in hindsight

Insane how having active orders can sometimes be the only way to get in/out on top. Man, hoping btc drops mid 6000s before it passes 8k. Had a little much yesterday, brought the laptop to the bar, not the best combination. Next time I'll set buy/sell orders in a better state of mind . To those who bought what I was recommending, we hodl strong.

Good news:
Gas had a nice jump
BTG mooned 77% for a few minutes on binance, made up for yesterdays losses and then some
Turned 0.7 ETH into a little over 3 with GRX ICO (thanks Goat)
seems a pretty good time to get in on certain alts

any of you guys in here actually mine or do u just play the exchange game?

I feel like i was totally late to the party considering I knew about btc back in college (2007-2012) and thought about mining it but instead used my rig to fold proteins for science. lol. no way to know it would blow up like it has...

BUT, i feel like its just the beginning for cryptos as a whole, so better late than never to get in the game!

i just started with a 4 GPU rig. I started with ETH and have been experimenting with ETC and ZEC in the last few weeks.

in the first ~2.5 months, i collected about $390. i used $215 of that to buy another GPU.

So far i've got $1700 invested in equipment.

according to my calcs, i should be able to make ~$1.30 per card per day assuming the price stays flat. So it'll have an ROI of 8 months, then its all profit.

Of course i'm a big believer in cryptos and think this is just the beginning. Once they become more mainstream i think they'll increase in value then stablize in price.

The plan right now is to just mine, pay my savings acct back the $1700 and then sit on the ETH/ETC/ZEC/BTC. I'd like to have it spread between those 4 just to be safe, but not sure at what %.

I have started to trade a bit, sold a bunch of ETH/ETC to buy BTC when it dipped to 5.8k. and just making a $10-$20 here and there.
