my newest feathered friend, Spike

He does not mingle with the 3 I posted above. But I plan to socialize him with them soon enough.

All of your Boxer pups were/are just so sweet looking! Your new birdie is pretty. Do birds usually need to be integrated with others slowly? Or certain kinds?

The ones not socialized yes.
Ones that were raised on a hand fed diet are normally friendly, especially with men if it was a man breeder who hand raised them. Or if a woman hand fed them, then they tend to take to women more.

Most all my birds were coming off a hand fed diet when I purchased them.

BTW guys I sold ALL of my snakes...I don't feel bad because snakes don't have any personal attachment to their owners or any humans. if it were a dog, cat or bird...I would not be able to get rid of them without feeling guilty or sorrow.

and Legz, I actually have every one of those boxies ashes I had them all cremated. And I saved their pawprint in a clay block tooI take solace knowing I gave em the best life I could and never once mistreated them.

Both males. Louie just turned 6 and is about 60lbs (top photo) and Lincoln is 4, weighing 75lbs (bottom photo). Absolute maniacs, but the sweetest things ever too. I'm sure you know.

Oh I see. Well that's pretty interesting about the birds and hand feeding and stuff. Yeah, all 3 kitters that we had with my son are cremated and he has their boxes of ashes in his room. No paw prints tho. I'll def do that with my boo. My friend has a special necklace with a little bit of the ashes from her heart dog.

Ahhhhh...... sooooo sweet! Love the pic of you holding them! I have a great pic of me holding my puppers mama at the rescue. She was an itty bitty pittie. My doggo is 73 lbs and lab size so yeah, can't really heft him for a pic. lol

It was an Easter I am grateful for.

She is amazing, and turned me onto my NEW favorite smoothie: Spinach leaves, bananas, dates, peanuts, strawberries and blueberries. *drools*

6% of US citizens apparently identify as vegans now, as opposed to 1% in 2014. I don't preach but I think loving animals as much as I do, this is the right path for me.... I am planning to cheat though this week cause it's my bday week, my UFC PPV week, and my Wrestlemania week. GF will be fine, so knows I do this every year with the guys who do NOT identify as vegan.

Legz, awwwwwwwe, thanks bae! That makes a man feel good, like all warm and toasty inside!

One of the birds watches wrestling and MMA with me, gets jealous when the GF comes over and squawks at her loud and repeatedly when we talk, as if to say, "SHUT UP!".

THis bird prefers men, was handfed raised by a man is why.

Lily was bitten in the face by a snake today and her muzzle has swollen the f*ck up. I got her on benadryl for allergic reaction, am scared. I will take to vet this afternoon (fukken Can't now!) but I am feel nervous.

Lily's swelling went down, she had fluid built up in all around her face and jaw, now there's just a bit of it on the right side of her face.

Vet seen no bite mark. Could've been an allergic reaction to a kind of spider. A small bite or sting that packed a wallop.

My dogs when they are outside...I watch them carefully, but they have been sticking there downs in the ground lately, and something likely tagged her then.
