As for how much to lose, you can't know until you get there. Definitely recommend lifting as muscle looks much better than skinny. Start exercising and eating healthy. It's worth it not only for your physical appearance but also for your health.

I know people like the op and in my experience they're beyond help.

My dad is one though he's not nearly as bad, they never really accomplish anything and constantly identify their problem but refuse to fix it, rather choosing to talk about it endlessly.

My dads been doing it his whole life, its the main reason why my mom left him.

He reminds me of that Andi dude we ran off the forums. Like to lose weight all you need to do is eat less. Chit is so easy especially at 260 and 40%+ body fat like OP because he doesnt look like he even lifts.

I had an IRL friend like OP, I gave him advice on diet, set him up with fitness Pal, gave him programs to follow. He took it all in, and within a month he gave up. Not only did he give up he gained all the weight back and more. He's had years to change but he will blame anything but himself. Being fit or even normal body fat levels isn't even hard, OP just refuses to put down soda and his bag of dorritos. People lose 50+ pounds in a year when they decide to change. He likes being a lazy self loathing person so nothing will change unless something drastic happens. Also let us be real I can be 300+ lbs and will still find this mystical girlfriend that OP is still chasing, so obviously something about his personality/attitude or way he presents himself is off putting. Dude should change for himself not to get girls
