The drawstrings were literally just drawstrings. They tightened up his clothes so they didn’t get caught in the suit. The nanotech stuff came out of the arc reactor after he touched it.

Well, yeah. No one except Thanos. But prior to seeing the movie, I followed the theory that it was Thanos destroying either Xandar or some other planet for real. Now that I know the actual context of what's going...eh, it'd just take a bit of creative story-telling if the writers wanted it to be a full moon throw while keeping the outcome the same. So I stand by my point: a full moon throw would've been way cooler.

Marvel adopted characters from DC when major creators jumped ship. Either way always been more of a Marvel fan

Justice League was garbage, and Infinity War made it look even more garbage, pick any 10 seconds from Infinity War and it's way better than the whole Justice League.

Even the actors involved with Justice League didn’t like it more.

It was pretty clear even in the trailer he was only ripping a chunk of that moon off.. Dunno how you ever got the impression he was going to pull the entire moon

This.

It's mind-boggling, really. DCAU has absolutely amazing movies and series, all they should do is to transfer some of them (Flashpoint Paradox pls) to live-screen with some minor tweaks and BAM! But no, instead we get Marthaaa.

Originally I thought it was the whole moon as well too lol, but it actually makes no sense for him to throw the entire moon unless he wants to kill himself + lose the time stone forever + destroy the entire planet

They're pretty damn similar, actually. Both of them have plots that are driven by a giant purple-blue (blurple) alien trying to collect some items on Earth, a planet which is defended by a team consisting of a super-robot, super-man, super-woman, super-billionaire, and they all have to face a horde of a space monsters.

Odd. I’m not saying these are quality girls, they’re not, but it does seem like they’re 1-2 points higher than the extremely low males they’re with. Nobody is probably banging anyone, test levels unlikely produce enough to get an erection for any of these guys, but it seems odd they’d be able to attract any women to be near them.

A lot of people thought he was pulling the whole moon. There were discussions online about it, fan theories about what he might've been doing with a full moon throw. The trailers clearly left it up to viewer interpretation of whether he was pulling a whole moon and, if so, why.

I actually sympathize with Thanos. I mean he offers real solutions to real problems. If he were able to halve his own race, his race would still survive.

But if it's the lack of resources that is the problem, why didn't he just use the gauntlet to create more resources? Surely if it can take away half of the lives in the universe, then it can also create extra resources for half of the universe.

do you agree with eugenics then? you know a lot of people believe the elite on earth have the same goals as Thanos

Eugenics is very different from Thanos' goal. Him halving the universe was completely random, and if I heard it right, what he planed for his own race was the same, completely random halving of population so there's no elitism there or selection of superior genes.

But again, instead of halving the population, he could have just used the infinity gauntlet to create enough resources

yes but the premise is the same wipe out half the population so the resources last longer

I don't know the exact details about the infinity gauntlet and I don't read the comics, but I'm assuming with the infinity gauntlet, he can just keep creating resources

in the movies no such thing was said that the gauntlet was just magic and could do anything. Only the destructive properties of it was talked about. Thanos is a really good villain, of course he could have been written better, just invading and killing half of the population brutally doesnt make sense for a villain thats main purpose is to have healthy planets. No planet is going to be healthy after witnessing such trauma.

I don't think that the movie verse is allowing the glove to do such a thing. I literally think that the glove can only remove life with a snap, which is why it is a built container for the stones. In other words. It is built to remove life, not plant trees. It's still dumb though.

In the comics. Thanos wanted to bang death. So murdering people is what would get her attention. Simple story and premise that i don't think the movie wanted to explore. So now it's complicated and creates questions like yours.

Are you ready? "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. (John 8:24).

If I'm not mistaken it was explained in the opening scene that the universe all started from those infinity stones, so if all of universe started from them, why can't they be used to create instead of destroy.
