I think he made a mistake when he took off Valero and replaced him with a striker but there were no midfielders on the bench. Cant blame the effort but damn Lukaku screwed us big time. That miss 1v1 was in the end the difference for me. At this stage in a crunch game you've got to be clutch and he is not. 65-75 million on this guy and he costs the club that extra UCL dough. Guys like Lautaro,Barella,Sensi are carrying this team and with the latter 2 injured this was always going to be an uphill task. Hmmm.But when have they not been in ****? They haven't won the EPL in 16 years now.They've never won the UCL.They have 1 European trophy in all of their history.Yes they are a respectable club in England and for about a decade from the mid 90s to the mid 00s you could say they were Englands Number 2 club.Now at present they are Englands 6th club.

I could never say that about United because Utd have 3 UCL trophies and have won both the Uefa Cup/EL and Cup Winners Cup.Yes the destinies of clubs change with time and there is always a cycle where a club will struggle whilst at other times it will be on top.But for Arse the struggles are now about to enter 2 decades.They have been on a downward spiral from somewhere around 2006 in my book and they have never looked like correcting course.

Also unlike Arse Utd have the ability to go and spend huge amounts of money on an established star like Pogba.Arse never go and buy the worlds best in his position.The likes of Aubameyang,Lacazette were top players but definitely not the best players in the world when they arrived.
