Forget violence, even property damage is 100% out of the question for such a scenario. There's cars being hijacked, businesses being burned (in an already anti-business environment) and people being threatened.

There's no legal outline for carrying out revolution obviously because revolution destabilizes a country regardless of whether it's righteous or not. But ascribing criminal action by this single low ranking public servant to the entire government is completely wrong and asinine. But celebrities and activists are doing it now.

I'm a police officer. Not a single one I've talked to approves of what happened, every one I've talked to is absolutely disgusted. No excuse for what happened. People should not lose their lives like that. Police should be held accountable. Terrible and embarrassing for a profession a lot of us love and give a lot to.

Also going to add, it's important to wait for the autopsy/toxicology, because if you arrest on a murder charge, you better be able to prove the death wasn't natural. Even if the knee to the neck was just a contributing factor, well now you have manslaughter. The court case doesn't start in the court room, it's going on right now. Especially in a case like this, you want to get it right. God forbid whatever charges they go with are dropped... which is something that happens all the time in cases you think are good to go. There is no excuse for what the officer did, it went from arresting a man to a medical aid call and the officer completely failed in that regard and I'm sure contributed to the death, at a minimum, but rushing these things is never good for the prosecution.

Are you sure that is an apt description of what happened? Granted i Just came across this and searched, but

https://theweek.com/speedreads/91692...e-floyds-death

"In particular, he was involved in the shooting death of a man who had stabbed other people before attacking police, as well as some other undisclosed complaints. Klobuchar did not prosecute Chauvin and other officers involved in the first death, which occurred in October 2006 while she was running for Senate. The case was under investigation when Klobuchar took office in the Senate in January 2007, and later went to a grand jury, which declined to charge the officers. "

In what sense was this 2006 incident a murder? And in what sense did she have anything to do with the outcome of the grand jury not indicting, after she left to join the senate?

Anything under murder would only cause more bloodlust. IIRC another black police brutality victim had diabetes or some respiratory problem when he died while being detained.

I get your points, but I'm arguing that this isn't an isolated incident. I don't think this can be chalked up to this single event, just as we can't talk up the American revolution to the Townshends Acts (yes I googled this). Obviously there are no legal outline, but this is a right implicitly guaranteed by our Constitution. The question is who is the appropriate arbiter?

Edit: The cop was clearly in the wrong. What I'm suggesting is that the rioting, including the property destruction, is morally ambigious.

coli forum, is racist also for example. straight up racist. predominately black.

I'm just saying don't act like that **** doesn't exist when in this very forum, there's racism constantly.

and lets be real... the perspective whites generally have on blacks/ethnicities as a whole reflects more in this....society as a whole than minorities disliking whites. being that America is predominately white within its power structures of course.
You are talking complete and utter shyt srs, except for saying racism exists. BTW, we know.

If you mean who deems a revolt righteous or not, it would be the mass opinion. The law currently condemns these actions by the rioters. In a revolution more specifically that would be the victor. Right now you'd be hard press to get a majority of Americans to support this rioting response.

Plus the media at length works to push this narrative of black men repeatedly being targeted and killed by police. Well...more white people are shot dead by police every year, and there's plenty of tape of white people being harassed on youtube. Goes to show just how much the news controls the masses.

This guy speaking truth^^

I have 2 close friends in law enforcement and they both (and their departments) are astounded and disgusted by this whole thing. The media is putting a microscope on this one "bad seed", but there are many other law enforcement officers out there keeping their cool and tolerating things that would send the average civilian through the ceiling.

I'm not a tinfoil hat guy, but man something is REALLY trying to destabilize the USA social and economic structure. SRS Absolutely crazy chit SRS
