I know there's a status implication. But if I'm a student with a non-impressive job I'm thinking it's not worth it.

Something like,

"I'm not a player, but I take the chances that I know are worth it"

If you're 18-22 then nobody cares about the status of your title. Showing you go to school and work will probably help a bit. Shows you aren't gonna be a mooch.

If you're 32 and your title is "head cashier at target" than it would probably hurt.

Met sloot at a bar last night, she was saying she leaves town thursday but hit her up Wednesday, got her number and we had a both pretty cringeworthy convo (drunk obviously) and it ended with her saying she's home and to come over, and saying shes home again. I fumbled it with this.

From what I can tell, Tinder has gotten very good with getting rid of the bots quickly. I haven't had an actual message from a bot in ages. That being said, they still exist, and it's possible you matched a couple, and Tinder just got to them real quick.

Sup brahs, does tinder penalise you for swiping too quickly? I've been swiping right or left pretty quickly cus iv tinder gold now and unlimited swipes meant i got bored n did it super quickly. Did i become blacklisted or something??? Havent been getting much matches recently.

There's a case to be made that auto swiping right negatively effects your elo. This goes back to tinder wanting to make a better user experience for women. I auto right swipe while boosting, and end up unmatching about half +/- of my boost matches because they aren't bangable. So if you are a woman, seeing your matches constantly disappear within seconds of matching them might make you want to delete your account. Less women on the app = less men on the app = less money.

I've noticed, at times, that some girls I match with I actually spent time looking at all their pics before right swiping. I mean like over a minute reviewing one girls profile. Then matching her the next day. Could be completely coincidental, but it follows a similar logic to say that tinder might prioritize cards for women based on the cards interest (=time reviewing) that specific womans profile.

Also the app is buggy af. The Tinder gold feature works like half the time for me. What I mean is that some times I'll see the gold Q loaded with like 10 new potential matches. I'll left swipe all but 2, taking 8 unbangables out of the Q. Then go days with zero new potential matches in the Q, while matching 3, 4, 5, new matches per day that were never in my gold Q.

So I would bet there's a better chance that your profile got lost in some algorithm glitch than that you got blacklisted or shadow banned.

Been debating closing/clearing/restarting my profile when my plus month was over, but i got the day wrong. Apparently if you guy it on the 8th, it will auto renew on the 7th...oops. Guess ill do more boosting and super likes then reset. Is there a site out there or explanation as to how to clear and restart? I know a buddy did it and set up a new account with his phone # vice FB account.

I was getting more matches as a free user than compared to a gold. Infact I'm getting probably half as many matches as a gold than when i was free lol. I'm 100% sure that tinder started hiding my profile or blacklisted me. Before cus I only had 100 swipes a day i took more time and effort with my decisions and got more matches. Now I rush it cus of unlimited swipes and get less matches. (My pictures are the same)
So idk weather to swipe slower in hope my profile gets shown again or reset.

I posted about this a few pages back. Once you break out the credit card you don't get blacklisted, you get greenlisted. Which means they might be trying to upsell boost/superlike packages since they know you will pay to play. So they will give you spotty results, with the intention you will buy a package. Which means yea, you could be matching more without paying for plus/gold.

Tinder is like a drug dealer. They get an addict hooked by giving it out for free. Then the addict starts buying. But they can never get the same high since they built a tolerance. Then they buy more frequently. Then they are hooked, chasing the high they got for free.

It does help if you don't go over board (like I have). I've bought boost/superlike packages like a fiend. Yes Im getting matches, and yes Im converting. I had 5-6 girls lined up in Chi town. 1st night met girl with a pretty face/no body pics on tinder. Her fb had body pics from 2012 and she was bangable. No body pics after that. So I took a chance. Recent face pics were pretty, no whale signs. Plus her fb pics were in posh locations in NYC, Europe, miami etc. with wealthy looking people. So thought even if shes a whale might be a cool girl to talk to and hear her story.

So that night (Tues) I went to a business dinner with a potential partner. I wasn't expecting it to be long. Meet at 5:30 for drinks. Expected to order food around 6 and be out by 7.
