same. idk whats going on so i sold my btc today at 5950. seems to be ok so far but i feel like amazon wasnt going to be anything so it would take a slight hit


then i expect it to make a run before the fork

i want the new 2x coins but i want alts more

meanwhile my internets literally gone out so thats annoying. that is one pitfall to all of this; the technical information. had to sell on my phone

Thank God I don't. I have held most of my btc and ETH and seen a lot of my friends get burned trying to 'trade'.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking on anyone's hustle. I applaud everyone who has made money on trading alts.

I'm just saying it needs experience and understanding before making big moves and your average 18 year old who has never traded before in his life won't become a millionaire overnight with his 0.5 btc he bought off coinbase after waiting for a month.

I've made good trades and bad ones. Slightly up but this whole thing is a game and learning process.

Theres is no such thing as a crypto trader who has never made a bad move, unless your only move was buying bitcoin in 2011 and sell it off now.

The alt world is dangerous but the payoffs are fuarking beautiful.

good or bad can be subjective.

But for me, I lost out on thousands of dollars buying coins that are just being held as heavy bags. that same money could of been spent on coins that would of given me a return. Thinking in terms of opportunity cost.

Finally looked into this amazon rumor myself. It's some guy in Germany saying amazon will mention accepting Bitcoin during their quarterly earnings call? There's no way that happens. Especially if you've ever listened to earnings calls, they're mostly backward looking at the previous quarter

I for one hope a JP Morgan analyst asks them about it lol

gnt was prob my biggest loss - 60%

but i didnt put much in either

quick trades in:

ltc
mco
and omg

only lost a few hundred dollars to those

HOWEVER i got cucked in the first fork so i missed omg. and i also missed wtc despite saying id get in early

Ouch

I haven't made any huge moves that resulted in big losses.

Ive put small amounts into coins that didn't pan out and sold at a loss to get out, but not a staggering amount.

OMG and WTC doubled my investments since I started in the early summer.

I have not lost any money so far. About 100% gain, overall. While I made some mistakes by not getting into coins that mooned, I also did not lose anything by holding bags. I should have invested in X back when Y happened, but hindsight is 20/20, I just try not to beat myself up over it and count the money I made.

Me too. Got in early on the walton train and about $11 for zen but that's it. Everything else has been slowly bleeding discouragement.

Is it just me or has this been a pretty touch Alt market the past few months? I'm to the point where I'm just going to keep my Zen and move everything else to BTC and check back next year.

amazon is just name dropping btc for free publicity, it wont rocket until they start actually taking it as payment. I dont know when it gets there, but I still expect btc to retest the 5k mark at some point, if not before the fork then after it. am holding firm and only buying new btc on screaming crashes.

also it looks like alts have done a 50% retracement from the post fork pump, which was to be expected. also am expecting a replay of the alt pump again after the second fork.

holding zen regardless of price, if it grinds down near 12 am doubling down. pbc has not yet signaled the second buy on it from the info goat posted yesterday.
