OP I can relate, I'm 27 as well and I'm on a three year dry spell myself. I live in Atlantic Canada and am not white. It's hard as fuk for a guy like me here. But I've also had chances and passed them up because I'm too picky. Strangely enough I don't regret it either as I don't want to deal with chicks I'm not attracted to for the purpose of getting hole.

There is a lot of truth that women do not care as much about looks as we think. When I first started dating my wife she had this orbiter that she went on a few dates with, guy was better looking and better built than me but he couldn't keep her, met him at the bar once and he said something along the lines of "obviously you got something I don't", felt both good and bad. Definitely not packing down below either.

You gotta have friends mate. I'm not very outgoing most days, and I don't think my facial aesthetics are anything special, but I have a few different friend groups I hang out with and I meet women because of them all the time. You just gotta get a few buddies who like to go out drinking or go to events, you'll eventually meet their other friends, and those people's friends and it's a giant chain of meeting people. Besides, if you meet a girl and end up going out, I guarantee she'll get sick of you always being around. Unless you have a number of hobbies that get you away from the house, but in that case you would probably have friends.

Social game is the key. Being out with groups of friends and meeting groups of girls. I can't really speak for outside of Toronto but here its the way to go. The other option is to wait until 2am before you start trying to pick up.
