Anyone got any experience with compliments/females reactions to A*Men? I personally love it, but can see how it would be polarising. Was considering wearing it on nights out at bars/clubs but unsure of what the general population thinks of it. (Inb4 wear what you like, I don't want heaps of people being turned off by my smell boyos). Sauvage is my mass pleasure but I'm so bored of it...

After the first 15 mins, in my experience it was like a cat with catnip for the layydeez. I only really wore it for dates though. Patcholi+coco+caramel =moisture. I thought they taught that in biology.

Tuscan Leather came in thia morning. This is so amazing. I am having an emotional experience with this one. Creed Aventus really made me smile the first time I smelled it but this is something different. Very very special fragrance. So many layers to it. Definitely smells like really nice leather, really nice smoke, and I smell something sweet, fruity in it.

Now to figure out what occasion to wear this on. How do you boyos wear it?

Will it layer well with Aventus?

SOTD: Ombr Leather 16

Got a real sample and going to take this one for a proper test drive. So far I'm def picking up big differences to TL. Brighter, greener, drier than TL.....it's more sheer and transparent. Smoke is absent and violet provides a airy floral sweetness as opposed to the juicy thick sweet raspberry in TL. Cardamon adds to the freshness keeping it "light on its feet" and the patch is adding to the greeness. The leather here is closer to Golden Boys leather/ suede accord but lacks the thick vanilla sweetness. So far this is def it's own fragrance and would compliment TL nicely in a collection as the easy to wear don't want to intimidate anybody everyday leather. Very nice juice.

Basically sums up my experience as well. Raspberry is what I get from the fruit.
I personally wear it pretty much all the time except summer (here in Toronto at least). Most commonly cool evenings.

Layers great with Aventus as mentioned above

Question guys

Do decants evaporate/expire over time? Reason why I ask is I have about 30 decants I've been collecting/hoarding over time lol. I notice I only use a rotation of 5 of them overtime. I might just sell all of them and buy 5 of my favorite decants in bottles.

A*Men is a classic. Once you get past the the harsh tarry opening, the dry down is to die for. You will get complimented on it.
Ps. there is nothing wrong with wearing something that the general population likes. That is one major reason to wear fragrances. I wear fragrances i like to get compliments. No shame about it.

Great review. Thats exactly how i feel about it. Love that fragrance. easily my best Tom Ford.

Yes some have been known to evaporate over time. Depends on the decant. Your plan to sell off and focus on 5you love is a great one. I wish i had the dedication to do something similar.

SOTD Was Nuwa, Amber Oud and Musk Oud. Tried out a ton of Rojas today. To be honest , each time i try this line out, i try real hard to get excited about them, but i can't say one frag he has that i would say is a must own and I currently own 4 of his frags.Some are downright nasty to me. My favorite has been amber oud, but Nuwa really impressed me to today. Brittania and Great Britain are pretty decent as well. Would be great in the spring and maybe summer.

I was at Nordstorm today and I was able to get a middle aged couple to buy like $500 in PdM fragrances... They absolutely loved Pegasus and Herod. I was told that I should work at Nordstrom and tbh it would be a super fun weekend job. The saleswoman who ultimately got the credit for the sale didn't even thank me... rude.

seriously, anytime the weather is cool. tuscaventus is my scent 5/7 days of the week right now. aventus, tuscan leather and edition blanch are the only frags i really need in my life

How do YOU do it? Last night, I went TL on my wrist and left neck; then Aventus on top of those, as well as my right neck and back of neck.
