wat

Was not aware of said intense version.

I've only worn this one a few times, and I must say I quite like it. If you're looking for a cheapie, like the coffee note in A*Men, but find the overall fragrance to beTOO MUCH, and like the raspberry note in Montblanc Individuel, but find the rest of the fragrance to be too synthetic and rather pedestrian, give this one a go.

It's a great date night fragrance, when you're taking her somewhere nice, like Olive Garden.

Aside from that it will be a big purchase of real retail of Aventus, Green Irish Tweed, Silver Mountain Water, and a few Tom Fords.

I wish there was a house that I truly could purchase their collection and it be the gambit of strong projection, lasting. Consist of 12 total scents that are majority summer with 3 great winter/fall scents.

That's all I want....just 1 house.....project/longevity.....and unique.

SOTD: Forgot, was in a tiny 1ml decant.

It was discontinued soon after release, and is very rare. Thus the high prices.

One of my most worn fragrances. Can't think of a more masculine fragrance. Strong wood, leather and rum combination, with beastly projection and longevity.

Just stopped by the Holt Renfrew (Bloor) this afternoon and happy to see this. I tried it with two sprays on the arm, it is true to what I expect from Creed...it will very much be a crowd-pleaser. It is masculine, although not incredibly, and it is refined enough to be a signature scent (like most Creeds.) I get spicy, wood, a bit of aquatic...and just faint spices in the drydown. The card says some citrus fruits and I think there might be grapefruit in here. It is very different from Aventus, no smoke and no pineapple here.

I might also mention, my initial impression was not favourable. The scent reminded me distinctly of a wet towel. I'm going to read reviews after I wear it a few more times.

Three hours from initial spray and I could get a few whiffs although my friend did not seem to notice this scent, even after the first 30 minutes. Aventus on the other hand, you can smell as soon as you enter the room. Five hours, and it is very much a skin scent. I will give you guys more of a thoughts after I wear it a few more times.

Unfortunately the Creed rep who I developed a nice relationship with has moved onto better things. Meet the new rep and happy to say I must still have some charm as I walked away with this.

I must say, even looking at the500mL bottle... it is $1380CAD after taxes, a 10mL decant shipped would come out to $35CAD, or $30US....I really don't feel it is worth this price. That is quite steep, and much more than Aventus (almost double.) I don't see this coming down as 500mL are rarely discounted.

Pricing for Canada before tax: 50mL $441, 100mL $624, 250mL $851, 500mL $1222.

Need some input from you brahs...

Got my Creed Aventus sample in the mail (Batch 16H11)

IMO smells like burning pine trees, stale cigarette smoke, and a little bit of Drakkar Noir. Not detecting any pineapple or fruitiness yet lol.

Sound like Aventus?

hmm.. I have 16K11 batch and it is pretty pineapple-ee. I also have 16C01 and it is more smokey because of the birch tar.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole, look at this thread for reviews on batches. I linked one of your 16H11.
