Made it to gold saucer

simply amazing.

Amazing.

The haunted hotel is some Disneyland type stuff. So well done.

Feel bad for anyone not gaming on OLED srs. These colors are insane
Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

Nice. I didnt finish last night (thought i was going to but it drug out a little). For the intermission, since i have a PS5 it should just be there right?

Ammm. Chit son when did you buy remake? The DLC came out after, it's a paid DLC. In the main menu you gotta press R2 I think to switch to intermission.

There was a special deal to get it for free if you pre-ordered Rebirth but that's gone now.

Word. Was just curious. I thought if you bought the PS5 version of remake you auto got it now. But will find out. I just got it a couple weeks ago. May need to look at rebirth purchase to see if it comes with it.

It doesn't. Only if you pre-ordered Rebirth there was an option for a twin pack containing both games (plus DLC) for just the price of Rebirth. After launch the price of the twin pack went up. I didn't have intermission before and I used that opportunity to finally get it.

If you wanna play the DLC I think the only option is to buy it separately. Also it's not really a requirement btw. It's a fun short story that takes place in Tifa's area when Cloud was separated with Aerith. You can always play Intermission later when it's on sale but the biggest regret would not be getting the Intermission summon for Rebirth because it's thunder based which is my most used element. And it's a pretty fuking badass summon too.

Oh right so I have some gr8 news. I'm playing Control right now but last night I hooked up my PS5 to a monitor, I think it's just 1080p or some chit and Rebirth didn't look horrible in performance mode there. Sad I won't get to see this beautiful game on an OLED TV anytime soon but at least the chitty image quality isn't exposed on a small screen.

Will be playing Rebirth after Control.

I got immediately sidetracked by the Fort Condor minigame. Once i read there is AP up materia at the end of it, im in. I *hated* the minigame in the original, but im kinda digging this. Yeah I never beat wedge Lmfao. Tried like 10x then quit. I thought I'd get a chance to play him later on but keep in mind there's a mission once u accept ull not be able to go back to the slums after. Pissed me off cuz it was the last thing I had to do.

Surprised so many are going for Intermission before Rebirth. Its a good DLC but its definitely not necessary. I played it when it came out cause there was nothing else.

My point is you dont have to play it. If you're determined to do so, ok but ive not usually seen people opt for DLC that isnt really necessary when the full sequel is already out.

DLC has nothing to do with the sequel other than adding in a special summon... Which is a very important summon imo. Other than that it takes place during the events of the original game and adds content to the lore of the events taking place at the time. It also doesn't diminish your playthrough of Rebirth in any way, Rebirth is still readily available to you after beating Intermission.

Anyone go through hard mode yet? Is it even worth it? Don’t feel like maxing out all my material just to get through brutal challenges. Sounds like a chore. Might play my backlog of God of War 2023 or FFXVI

Nobody said it was essential for Rebirth, but it's still part of the overall story and if you love the series enough you'd want to play all the content it has to offer. Intermission takes place before Rebirth so that's the natural order to play it in.

....I understand this. I was just saying that Im surprised cause I dont usually see optional DLC be that popular. Usually that only happens when people think they'll miss something important.

I also never suggested anyone play Intermission after rebirth, dont know why it seems like you're implying I am.
