Higher risk, higher reward/loss. It's about risk and portfolio management.

You guys should be wary that GOAT's risk tolerance is way higher than most because he has already made substantial profit. Adjust yours accordingly.

I.e. if you havent made any profit yet/in the negative; I would not go in

If you made 10k, see absolutely no harm in putting in 1k.

i dont agree with betting the farm on it, but just tossing 500 at it can either make you lose 500 or gain 5000

risk reward is great.

research and find 5 seemingly promising coins and toss money equally at each. if you do this odds are youll make out great. crypto isnt stocks. youll see returns sometimes so huge that if you invested in them youd stroke out and become half retarded. i dont recommend investing everything in crypto, but a good speculative play keeps you engaged in the market and can outperform the rest of your portfolio.

I'm looking at using a bit more money on purely BTC and a little ETH, I can't decide if I should wait and hope for a pullback at some point and go all in at that time. Or just buy a little bit each day and whatever the daily price is will be around my buy in for that day.

This is what I'm doing after the s2x fork. Play around with alts until then, move to BTC and just sit on it. In the end BTC is the crypto overlord and even though the gains may be slower, they'll be more consistent and it'll be considerably less stressful than monitoring alts for hours on end. I have chit to do.

Now for a bit of offtopic. I was at this corporate networking event yesterday where various companies were advertising, exchanging ideas, you name it. Check out the logo of one of them

did they set a date for the announcement ?

WTC announced in their slack that they have bigger new coming, anyone else feel that is just something to butter everyone up as their wallet and blockchain will be late? I got a strong feeling this will be the case

I'm just sitting tight, not selling alts in the red, accumulating Walton and the remainder in BTC and a tiny bit in OMG to short after the fork.

I'm trying to think like a Walton Whale, I'm sure these guys aren't crying and dumping in the red, they have to be accumulating at these sub $7 usd prices.

It spiked to $8.40 usd the day gold was credited. It will go back up, theres news coming out, we may see $9-10 and my angus will be peppered.

Unfortunately I am also an emotional investor and even though its not a loss until you sell, I get panicky when I see my coins bleed. Just have to stay the course and not panic sell to actualize the loss.

Mother fuker, just realized I am going to be on vacation in Sweden while the next fork happens.

Not sure if I will be in a wifi area or traveling back home on the plane but I really need to plan ahead, set some sell orders, etc.

****** brahs, I'm thinking of buying one to store my BTC that I'm not planning on touching for years. I'm paranoid of it breaking or possibly not being compatible with devices in 5-10 years. I have my MEW in 2 cold storage forms. Although it might not be ideal, I feel like having a backup to the wallet makes me feel more secure. I would like a backup to my BTC wallet that the ****** doesn't have. Are there other advantages in not considering with the ******?

REQ released their dev update a few hours ago. That and the binance listing have given it a decent spike.https://blog.request.network/request...7-1cd981fe131a

Request is honestly the most professional, rockstar crypto out there. This thing is the future. Continuous invoicing....that has massive use cases across the world. Imagine being paid in realtime, second by second.

And note on the update: they are AHEAD of their roadmap. Moving Q1 2018 goals into Q4 this year....

I don't think theres a right answer honestly... I have a feeling will see a correction following S2x. But we also might see a large run-up from people trying to get free coins again. I could see it running up to 7,000-7,500 but the dip/correction might be right around where it is now.

Maybe put half in now and wait

Huge Ponzi scheme. Little brother of Bitconnect. MMM Ponzi consortium thought to be running the whole show. Huge risk/Astronomical rewards. They could run off with all our money or we could all have matching Lambo's with daily passive income. If you're going in,put an amount that wouldnt kill you or disrupt your life if you got scammed out of it.

I've sold all my alts other than WTC, ZEN and OMG. Hoping for a big BTC bullrun before the next fork so I can scoop up more and maybe a few quick pumps from the odd alt I can ride along the way.
