I've been thinking pretty hard about picking up a 5" M2 for pistol league. Those ergos are just sexy.

But I've held off until I can play with a CZ P-10C

Relent, do you have any good pictures of a G17 with the xtreme or UCC V3 cut? If there's one thing I could suggest for your website, it's some good pictures from all sides for the different models.

Good resource. There is a groupon for a CCL class for $75 on there. Not sure if you can see that thread without joining. Good stuff on regs. IL didn't want CCW licensing, they were forced. The funny thing is thugs carrying illegal / stolen guns with no FOID/CCL are rarely charged to the extent of the law. The restrictions on where you can carry are not terrible and should be getting better. There is a lot being done to improve the law. Some states that seem more "free" also have a lot of restrictions. In Michigan for example if you don't disclose you are carrying immediately during a traffic stop you can be in deep chit, IL you don't have to disclose unless asked. When you learn the laws, they are not that terrible. Should not have to pay a fee to exercise a right though.....

And the cheapest AR pistol build ever. Total of like 550 in to this thing even with the drop in trigger

wut. if you're just going for looks with hexmags then why buy 18 or however many? I've never used a hexmag before but I do remember the first gen having some issues. I'm just unsure as to why you'd dump that amount of money into a very new magazine brand when pmags are just as affordable, combat proven, and is the design that all polymer magazines are based off of. I mean if the hexmags function flawlessly and you don't have any trouble out of them, that's great. It's just going out on a bit of a whim.

Took my p-01 out yesterday for the first time and put about 80 to a hundred rounds through it, was comfortable but that first DA shot is def something that I need a ton of work on. The sp-01 is def a sweet looking gun.

Flipped one of my watches about a week or two ago and had some extra cash floating around, nabbed a sig p220 last night from a guy on calguns, ordered the g-m colored g10 grips. Son I am excite. Maybe it's because I've been shooting .45 for the past 3-4 years in my Glock but I just like shooting that cal more than 9mm at this point. Needed something a little slimmer than the Glock tho.

Anyone have a recommendation for 10rd mags for the sig?

The sights blow compared to what we have today, but it really is the most beautiful handgun made. As far as practicality, I'd still prefer a Glock over a 1911 because of function. At the same time, I'd still love a Wilson Combat 1911 or any of those other $1k+ 1911s.

I've been using that, but it doesn't give a lot of info on which cuts are used or which model is shown. Pre-cerakote pictures might be good to accentuate what all is actually done.

I was in the hood next to the business, one block away getting my brake pads and rotors changed on the street.... lol man... got a vid of the guy going in on my pops telling him what's your handsome son doing driving a 4 year old car, I know what you got. Get him a Benz. Me and the old guys around were just joking and laughing the whole time. Definitely an unsafe area but never had trouble and sadly I wasn't even carrying yet (my license should be around soon though I'm hoping).

Illinois charges 150 + some fee of a few dollars for CCL.. compared to Indiana which charges less than 20 and we neighbors manTBH I paid 100 and told the dude you guys had a holiday special for 80 and it didn't work for me. Guy gave me back 20. So I paid 80. Had to get 20 or 30 rounds so they provide that for like 15 or you buy your own which is what I did, bought like 50 for 12-13 after tax (tax of peace).

I rarely ever get pulled over but the last time I did, it was around the times with all these shootings happening around the country and the people protesting against police/brutality or whatever. I immediately rolled down all of my tinted windows, put my hands on the steering wheel and talked to the cop. I was on my way to school and I came off the passing lane fast and he had just got on the highway (I seen him), me and him and driving next to each other but I'm still going 70 because I had to pass someone to get off the passing lane. He ends up getting slowed down by a car in front of him so he is forced to go behind me. Pulls me over, asks me why I'm speeding, I tell him it's because I really need to get to school before class starts (seen my school bag) and talk to my teacher since she said she wanted me to and I don't want to disrespect her by being late, and so he takes my license and insurance, comes back explains how it really messes with his morning when people pass up cops while speeding and stuff like that. I apologized and he let me go. I didn't lie about why I was speeding though I was seriously trying to talk to my teacher before class.

So yeah I try to allow cops who pull me over feel as safe as possible and let the whole experience with them just ride smoothly and quickly. As you guys know they have families and things like that so it may have gave him peace of mind by me complying, rolling down the tints so he can easily see, hands are visible, making sure I'd ask him before pulling out my license, etc..

I was told to pull out both licenses (state license and conceal carry license) when getting pulled over and carrying here in Illinois.They sold in packs of 6 for 50 even. I was spending around 135 for 10 pmags gen 3 windowed, I think I should have gotten 1 order of 6 and 1 order of 10. We'll see. It is series 2. They have lifetime warranty. And yeah tbh I plan on having these for a long time, not sure how long some people have had their mags, but at this time I wouldn't even use all 18 mags at the range at the same time but I thought it would be good to have for the future firearms.

Yeah the VN ones have the more greenish finish but still great. But heard a lot of them were abuesed by the climate in south east Asia that killed their reliability. It's not the most practical one but it is a beauty and should be treated with love. Have seen one with a polish finish from 1939 was such a beauty but too expensive the real ww2 ones in perfect condition from 1k now.

LOVE them. Will probably go on most of my 556 builds unless I do a precision bench rifle.
