This. No reason to go into alts until BTC is more stable. Sure you can get a few pumps here and there, but the odds are stacked against you. When BTC dips there's no guarantee the money will flow into your alt. If you wanna make money off of BTC dips, use BCC.

So I stepped away from crypto around june or july. I got into eth at 150, 210, then FOMO'd at 340, averaging my investment at $256/eth. Then I saw it dipping below $200, and was like fukc it, I'm just gonna forget about this, and let it ride, come back in the future and hope I'm at least even lol. Decided to check up over the past week and have been kicking myself for not dropping more of course. Now I wonder if this will be like that surge back in May or whatever where it hit $400 and then plummeted, or is it finally stable, and I should just buy more now... fuark.

If you had the discipline to buy and walk away the first time, I'd just do the same again and check back next year.

I think it's worth it but price is intimately linked to BTC. When BTC goes up, it goes up. When BTC goes down, it goes down and now usually stays at around 0.0091 BTC. If it crashes, it'll crash hardcore. Risk reward ratio quite good if you're up for a gamble but if BTC goes down it'll be taking LTC along for the ride.
