Not that anyone cares my Friday was great, finally convinced the man to go out with me. He let loose had a few beers, we had fun. Like this is a HUGE deal, we hadn't been out together on the town like that in 3 years, I was getting real mad and resentful. So I feel loads better now. Saturday was pretty hilarious, he was useless, as was I a bit but still managed to go to the gym. Luckily we cleaned up Friday night before going out so Saturday was chill.

Sunday was great, I learned a LOT more of this sword form, so that's exciting. FTWD was pretty good too.

Winds up kickign husband out, tells him to take the kid
He posts a video he took of her while she was high saying how she never wanted the kid, etc. etc.

A few months back I learn that the kid (who is/was friends with my kid) is coming back
She plasters all over FB that her kid was rushed to the hospital, due to falling off a bunk bed so hard that the kid looked like a klingon.

She regularly leaves her 3 year old in the care of her 12 and 16 year old siblings(and other rando roomates) in the house she bought

After the horrible accident , she REFUSES to release the kid back into daddies care (he's a great, loving, caring dad)

My BF sends me a text this morning of the day care sign in sheet that says "her kid must be picked up by someone 18+ AND who has been authorized to do so"

between all this she ended up losing her job at the uni doing data analytics and now, has a new BF and is driving uber.
Yikes.

And this isn't normal? Parents left us alone from the time I was 5/6. All my siblings were younger. ;p

@ SaliAll these stupid laws and social mores of the day telling us what is and isn't child neglect. Gone are the days of running "errands" while you roll the windows down and leave the 12 year old in charge of the smaller kids while you take 10 years to pay a cable bill (this was regular stuff with my mom, and stepmom, during summers in either Texas OR Arizona)

LMAO, man, ..i hate it when he's watching my 600 lb life then proceeds to eat a bunch of garbage, I can't keep my mouth shut. Don't get me wrong, I so would if he didn't complain about being fat all the time and not liking it.

I think it might be a difference in how we were raised, his mom is super hippy and like way nicer than anyone in my family is. My family is relentless.

I tell him let me figure out your caloric needs and just eat to this for a few weeks and lift 3 times a week and a bit of cardio, it'll fall off

he'll go to the gym in spurts, and then just fall off. Or start watching documentaries about vegan diets and **** and ..I just lose it.

honestly I think 9 and 10 isn't so bad, but in the crazy lady's case, she has rented several rooms in that house to , strangers , and I believe her older brother sibling sells weed too and lives there so you have that traffic coming in and out.

I was left to fend for myself from young ages and did okay but this lady is just, really irresponsible with a lot of things.

I mean, you have to literally just be eating all day to get that big and to keep the weight on. There is even this show of kids that get sent to fat camp, as a parent how would you be able to just watch your kid balloon up to 500 lbs?!

I've had (mostly overweight/obese) people lecture me re: my weight since I was little. It's a sore point and something I'm not going to do w/ someone else. Ex-spouse was overweight & then some when I met him, and he gained more weight over the years. If you want to lose weight, then fine, I'm happy to do what I can to help support you in meeting your goals, but ultimately you're responsible for yourself. I can't make you do something that you don't want for yourself. And if I call you a "fat ass", I honestly doubt that's going to motivate you and I also suspect that you'll start resenting me to boot. Got a spot from a jacked Aussie brah in the base gym yesterday during my last set of 100's on the DB bench. Let me tell you, there is nothing more motivating than a jacked Aussie dude cheering you on with, "come on mate! Come on mate!" Getting a spot will never be the same.

If a person isn't motivated for themselves and doesn't want to change, it's highly improbable that you're going to make them change. Then you're just going to end up with two very unhappy people.

"Why are you trying to change me?!"
Resentment is a real consequence. Most of my name calling is in a joking matter, but honestly if I think back to how I would react, I wouldn't think it was a "joke" most of the time and would get butthurt. AT the end of the day I accept him for who he is in regards to weight. It's not like he was super in shape when I met him,....sooo there you go. I just hope he decides to just lose a bit for his health, which if I give him credit he hasn't lost any scale weight really but since cutting out most of his drinking his belly has gone down considerably.

fackk that food looks delicious. Wish there were more bbq places around here...only one people can recommend is Phil's BBQ...and it was pretty underwhelming

in his defense, did he already know that you wanted to go before he went? if so, then shame on him, that's heretical. if not tho, can't blame him too much
IN his defense, I know I've mentioned the place to him and wanting to go but I can mention where his walet is and two seconds later he'll forget.

edit: Walas: man that place looks legit...yum yum.
