Why do you guys get so rustled over such bullchit? Men and women both cheat, big whoopty. I'd say over the course of a lifetime it's very likely you will cheat on one of your partners or one of your partners will cheat on you. The reasons for are endless but I think the main one is simply because it's exciting being with a new person.

To the guy suggesting always being the king of the house and she'll never cheat? - That's just naive red pill bollucks. Even if she's happy with you, if a guy out of her league really makes a move there's a chance she'll cheat. While being at the top of your game obviously reduces such chances, it doesn't make them go away. You can't be in total control of another person no matter how much of a hotshot you are.

The top part is true. Its the prospect of being with someone new that is exciting, but if a persons morals and values are in tact, they will not cheat per se. They will leave you then go off with that person.
When you are with someone, under the pretense of a monogamous relationship, and then you just go off and cheat, that is very shady, and shows your poor character and lack in good values. It is better you divorce your partner/gf/bf then go off in the woods and have a taste of all the branches lool. This is just my opinion though but I agree with what you are saying ^

Don't discount female hormones and the feelings and emotions they can rustle in the "why she cheated" equation. Even a happy wife can cheat with a less-attractive man because of some kind of emotional void or temporary hormone-affected insanity.

Even spoiled wives can get complacent, no matter how hard a husband works to keep her happy.

Sometimes there just isn't a valid excuse or explanation for what happens.

To me, there is NO EXCUSE for cheating. If you're unhappy, end the relationship before you get with someone else. Two at a time is unfair for every party involved and will never end will for any of them.

In a perfect world I'd agree with you but I've seen many people with 'good morals' cheat, myself included. I thought I'd never do it and was always disgusted even thinking about it... yet somehow I did. I reckon a lot of people are pretty similar in that they despise it but they've either done it or been very close to doing it. My parents told me countless stories about friends and relatives cheating and a lot of them are good people. The older I get the more it seems everyone has a few skeletons in the closet - maybe not in their current relationships, but certainly over the course of their lives. Not that I'm making any excuses for cheaters btw. It'd be great if everyone decided to end the relationship but for several reasons (all scummy) sometimes they don't.

Oh I agree, there's no excuse to cheat, it's one of the most hurtful things you can do to someone and you should always end a relationship before it gets to that stage.

That's the point I'm making. You could be the best husband in the world and she could love you for it. You could be giving her the best sex ever and be on top of things socially but at the same time if the right man comes along there's always a possibility of her cheating simply because having sex with someone else is exciting. Men and women are the exact same in this regard.
