TBH, if Coinbase and GDAX had just let nature run it's course instead of disabling this and closing down that, it'd be a very different story right now and BTC would be in the sh*t. Still, I think people are just swing trading it right now and when Roger goes live it'll start mooning again.

They're probably trying to do damage control after the massive fukkup of their BCH release. If you contact support and tell them they dun goofed and you're taking your services elsewhere, they might expedite it. I myself just took everything I had off CB and moved it to bittrex, it took a while but I didn't get that message :/

because once coinbase being announced hit you had people jump to bcc in anticipation of a huge price spike..

then wallets/ purchasing bch has been offline on coinbase, so you weren't seeing affects there.

now trading has opened up on coinbase and the people who bought in that anticipation (who likely dgaf about bcash) are dumping.

yet, coinbase is still having problems with their buys and sells..

you're seeing the pump and dumpers sell

youre also still seeing 0 effects from the actual listing

Siacoin just posted a release in their discord, coins up 60% since yesterday. I regretfully only have 10k from mining it for chits and gigs but its now worth 275.00 so I might liquidate it soon for some cash money to throw at a gamble coin.

I like SC, but its potential for moon missions is all but naught.

I don't inherently have a problem with forks. You can copy the codebase on Github, set up some nodes and have your own fork.

but you have to admit, as you were in this market..btc's price right now is largely propped up against the free coins from the fork(s)

obviously given all of the forks, there was development trouble. meaning, no improvements

so, when it rushed from 4k, or even 2k, to here.. it seems a little out of place given all of its development troubles/ slow speed to other alts, etc. that it would just randomly surge. why would people invest in something having problems?

undoubtedly, it was good for the entire space as btc is the brand of the space and brought attention to the space not previously seen.. but, i largely dislike how it has happened; i dont believe its been true organic growth, trust in the product, and mainstream adoption. while you can use btc places, who does? who would?

in any case, i'm not saying i believe/ disbelieve in bch/btc, i just don't like btc in and of itself and believe it has pulled some major fukkery. and like i said, i do support developers who actually wanted to do something with a vision and moved elsewhere
