I'm just saying to not take it personal because there may be some unknown information that you may not be familiar with, that to no fault of your own, affected their perception at that time and place.
If they barely know you, you can't take it personal, as they don't really 'know' the real you.

It's normal to want to date people you are attracted to. If you can't seem to date people you are attracted to well, assessing what you bring to the table seems to be in order.
I just want to clearly state that anyone who is so afraid of being alone that s/he will simply string someone else along to avoid being alone is a trash human being who uses other people simply as tools for his/her own needs. Absolute trash.

Do you really think the only kind of physical attraction to exist is instant?
I’m not knocking it ...instant attraction is powerful and fun and can be absorbing but it’s simple lust and can be as easily stated by fukking and disappear as grow into something stronger
Instant attraction is not all there is...that’s why you’re told to give people you like, but don’t feel it in your loins so to speak, a chance

People fear being alone and I think lots of people settle for someone they are not attracted to just to not be alone. Especially women when they get older and want marriage and kids. Then they will start focusing more on other things like if the guy will commit, if he will be stable and loyal, if he will be a good provider or a good dad etc.

Unless the other person makes drastic changes. Losing 25lbs after you start dating. Lifting. Fixing teeth ETC.
It's settling.

Instant lust is not greater than building attraction ...nor is the sex with lust and no feels better than sex that comes with growing attraction necessarily
It’s not settling to give people you don’t automatically drool over a chance

Plus, the one she really likes is like a 5-6/10 to me. So if he was just a normal dude walking down the street who's to say he wouldn't be interested in an attractive woman like SS?
I two people who are not compatible get in a relationship or get married just to settle, then that relationship will not last.

If I absolutely don't feel that attraction to even want to kiss someone, it's not going to come about on a 3rd, 5th or 10th date. Not looking for lust at all actually. Nor for fireworks or anything spectacular. Just simply attraction. When I go on a first date I judge it by whether I feel like seeing that person again, if I want to get closer or am waiting to get away, and if thinking about touching or kissing them feels good or bad.

I can't say they are, as the guys she finds attractive to me are not that attractive. Just like I'd bet money she'd rate my FWB a 2-3/10 yet to me he's the sexiest man I've ever met. I also find that the more I like someone as a person, the less I notice their physical flaws, and the more endearing I find their quirks. Compatible partners grow into each other. You learn to love one another and get excited to just see that person. With all my previous relationships, whenever I think of them fondly, it's always the experiences I shared with them, moments we had, chilling on the couch rubbing his feet kind of thing. Not "we had mind blowing sex", how good the sex was, is always just an afterthought.
They said she's gone too far this time

There's no logic to it. There's no making it happen. It's there or it's not.
This is medical and scientific fact. You can't choose to be attracted.

And once there over time you can choose to be receptive to being turned on. It is seemingly easy in a long term relationship for sex to die it ...at least that’s the constant refrain isn’t it
So there must be a way over time for attraction to remain ...and that does take conscious effort ..in remaining sexually confident and open ...in seeking to feel attracted
