Just now in past few hours the Russian Duma for the first time officially recognized the DPR and LPR (eastern Ukraine). If Putin signs this is going to have a cascade of bad events as they are still fighting a war against Ukraine and will end the Minsk agreements and bring war between Russia and Ukraine if no treaty/new agreement/etc is reached.

as Ukraine and these 'breakaway' areas(really Russian gov controlled areas) are fighting an ongoing deadly conflict with front lines 100-700 meters from each other all along the front.

Biden hedging with Russian withdrawal not being confirmed. I've been on the "not gonna happen" team from the beginning, but this gives me pause. NATO allies will be defended. No USA troops in Ukraine. Interesting.

It's not what they say that's usually relevant, but what they're leaving out. Makes me wonder if they've got real intelligence that Russia may actually proceed and they are faking the withdrawal. If that is the case, and for whatever reason Biden has chosen not to blab about it like he blabbed about all of Russia's previous plans (lol) uh...maybe chit actually is going down.

This whole thing is a mess. Russia saying this, NATO saying that, Ukraine saying something, and Biden saying another.

Biden doesn’t want any troops in Ukraine that’s for sure. Will Russia proceed with the invasion? I think so.

Seeing how they have just passed a bill today in Russia to recognize the breakaway regions in Ukraine, I think it's very likely that they will pull the same move they did with Georgia in 2008.

This means that they wouldn't be invading on foreign regions, they would just rull into recognized areas stuffed with Russian nationals that need protection. This would fit the bill, seeing how many/most people living there opted for and received Russian citizenship.

Legal shenanigans, really.

Where is the narrative that they're withdrawing US military that was NEVER in the Ukraine, out of Ukraine coming from? Service members were deployed to mostly Romania and Poland. Bunch of propaganda and misinformation being spread from people that have ZERO knowledge of anything. (Ded fkn Srs)
