Yeah, I think Doubs is the safest play, but Pickens has the highest ceiling. I would probably recommend Doubs anyway until the Steelers get their offense sorted out, but I guess it depends on how far behind you perceive yourself in this one right now. I don't like the matchup for the other guys at all.

That's a tough call. Stevenson has a cake matchup, but the Lions said they are going to ramp up Gibbs' touches, so he could explode this week. They're both pretty good plays. I'd go with Gibbs, but you could justify either one.

Well, Puka is legit and might be at least a WR2 whether or not Kupp is on the field. Spent 50%+ getting him in the leagues I needed WR help and now I wish I got him in every league lol.

Kyren also looking like a stud if he can handle bellcow duties over the season. Rams might be giving us 2 league winners this year.

I got outbid by $2 on Kyren and my top 2 RBs are out currently. So frustrating

I got Puka off waivers in 2 of my 3 redraft leagues and picked him in the 4th of the rookie draft in a dynasty league. Feels good.

feel kinda bad that I picked gainwell over puka. i knew i could only get one of them and at the time it was before swift went off.

regardless, that playbook is designed around cooper kupp and he is filling that role. When kupp comes back pukas numbers will fall off a cliff. its possible he can still produce like a wr2 though, but the massive volume hes seeing will completely shift back to kupp

Yeah, for this year, when Kupp comes back, it will be interesting to see what happens. I'm particularly stoked for him in dynasty (for a 4th round pick, especially) because if he can handle this sort of target volume, they'll move on from Kupp to him in the coming rebuild.

Incidentally, Tutu Atwell has emerged on LA this year, too. He is a deep threat and speedster, not a possession receiver, so his role in the offense is far less threatened by Kupp. He is an interesting prospect because he didn't do chit for 2 years despite being a 2nd round pick, but all of a sudden, he's looking like a top 30 WR (so far).

Absolutely brutal for Chubb. Was not expecting it to look that gruesome with how he first reacted.

I was so close to taking Chubb but took Bijan instead.

Should I use a decent waiver on Ford or is Kareem a solid chance of being picked up by Browns?

this only happens a couple times a year where the starter is legit out for the rest of the season and the backup is clear. i'm using my 2 waiver on Ford and hoping the guy with the 1 forgets to do so. this is probably as good of a chance as you'll get at getting a productive steady RB with your waiver.

solid chance of kareem - sure, the Browns will have to bring somebody in whether is Hunt or someone else. But at the moment Ford knows the offense best and looked real good last night so he'd get the first opportunity regardless.

Agreed. Ford looks to have 100x more juice than the washed version of Hunt we saw last year. If they sign Hunt, which makes sense if he's lowered his price now that he sees how barren the RB market is since he knows the system/culture, it will be as a backup/insurance policy for Ford rather than as a feature back and is much more of a threat to Strong as a dart throw than to Ford as a RB1.

Yeah, I want no part of Kupp at all. Even though they say he's coming back in a couple weeks, this has all the hallmarks of a lost season for him where this issue never really goes away and he's eventually put on IR in November when they fall out of the race and trade Stafford. I'm just saying, if Kupp does make it back on the field for a couple games, it will be interesting to see how that affects Puka's usage for those games.

2-0 in my friends and family league, and 1-1 in my money league.

Had to sweat out the win last night as I was going against the Saints Defense and that garbage time TD by Carolina took enough points away from the Saints D for me to get the win.

Fairly good with RB depth in both leagues, time to see if I can take advantage of any trade opportunities with the Saquon or Chubb owners.

2 and 0 and my season is over already

nick chubb is done and I'm 10th on waivers. We got rid of faab so now i cant even have Ford unless everyone passes on him which is 0%

harris is a huge bust as my rb2.
mile sanders is a bust as my flex

i wish there was a flag i could waive to quit. instead i will be surely taking a bunch of L's

I would have been able to navigate this situation is Najee Harris could perform closer to his ADP

the RB position hasn't had a good couple weeks. not exactly helping them get more guaranteed money going forward.

Ekeler, Saquon, Chubb all down. Aaron Jones missed a game for a supposedly minor hammy pull but call me when he practices in full. Josh Jacobs made a big stink over his money but he's averaged about 23 yards per game so far. 2 of the best RBs in the league this season are Kyren Williams and Raheem Mostert who practically make NFL minimum wage.

Miles Sanders isn't a bust as a flex. How good do you expect your flex position to be?

I'm 4th on the waiver, trying to get Ford from CLE but guessing that will not happen. 2nd option is Zach Moss. Z Elliot is a waste of a bench spot at this point.

Moss is a fine pickup although the JT comeback rumors are building. even so, a couple good weeks out of Moss is worth the waiver IMO.

That was my thought. If I get Moss the hope is they trade JT ha ha. I would love to get Ford. If I can get him, I'm set for the year baring injury.

Well i’m 0-2 and its currently looking like my worst fantasy season ever considering my team can barely put up 100 in full ppr. I was going to bench Breece Hall and Pierce and start Jordan Addison in my flex this week but now I’m im second guessing myself. Not sure if Addisons long td catch catch streak can continue but it should be a shootout. Would anyone start Pierce or Hall over Addison?

I'd probably keep starting Breece. It was a brutal matchup and they have to know he's their best chance at doing anything on offense. They can't afford to only give him 4 carries in games.

I’m pretty sure Chargers D is last in the league for WR points given up. At home, Addison averages a TD a game so far. The odds look decent but flip a coin.

I’m blowing 2/3 of my faab on Ford. I assume I’ll get him but I can’t risk getting outbid by $2 again like with Kyren. Still bitter that I missed out on him. Guy is going to put up points this year.

Cost me 100 to barely get him in 1 league last night. Drafted him in another league that has deep benches.

If your league is anything like the ones I'm in 2/3 probably won't cut it. Especially with how many people's RBs are either busts or injured.
