As it stands he's not allowed to compete in the US Open... if he enters the country by air. Let's see if he's got a road trip from Mexico planned.

Going into the 2022 Oz Open Nadal was 1-4 in finals to Djokovic's 8-0. That was a gift. Situation reversed in France with Nadal booted out and these nuthuggers would be crying foul. So I was happy to see Djokovic pull one back.

Nadal on clay and Nadal on grass is a night and day difference. That's why in his prime for 6 years he couldn't make it past the 4th round of Wimbledon as assorted journeymen pumped him. I'm not sure why you waste your time arguing this point.

FACT: Djokovic has owned him off clay for 9 years.
You're doing God's work by laying these fatherless Ratface Kneedal stans to waste.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

One day Kyrgios will look back on his decision to play doubles with his mate who hasn't won anything and wonder WTF he was thinking.

Finally a slam opens up without Djokovic and Nadal and he'd already taken out the top seed. He won't get another opportunity like that.

Honestly think hew is just desperate to win a slam at this point & doesn't believe in himself enough in singles, so hedges his bets with doubles-having won the Aussie doubles with him this season. Dude has only ever been in one 1000 final & lost that-must be other than possibly Kafelnikov the best player never to win a 1000 title. Never seen such a talent, who is such a mental midget.

I hope Nick has a few years of dedication/focus in him. Extremely talented and fun to watch.

Alcaraz is no doubt the best player to come along since the big 4. Sinner might be the next best (lumping him in with JDP and Medvedev).

It's a shame his final match was the Hurkacz nightmare. Converting one of those match points on serve against Djokovic in the 2019 final would have been the perfect way to farewell the sport, beating the best one last time. Sampras managed one final winning run at the 2002 US Open. It was not to be.

Father Time is undefeated so I'm glad Federer has finally accepted his fate instead of playing on with no ranking and embarrassing himself against one dimensional ballbashers he'd have smoked 5 years ago, let alone in his prime. Watching both Nadal and especially Serena crash out probably sealed the deal. There's nothing left to prove.

Ponytailed Federer in 2004 was the peak for me. The forehand was firing on all cylinders — he really flattened it out. Does any other player watch the ball right onto the strings and hold his gaze there like Federer?

The first time I realized how good Federer could be was when he won his first slam, by beating Roddick in the semis and Philippoussis in the finals. Wasn't just the fact that he won, but the way he played. I was like "this guy can't possible be this good can he?" Well, almost 20 years and 20 slams later here we are.

Hopefully Rafa can play a few more years. He wasn't looking that good in the doubles match

The last 12 years of their rivalry says it all. 36 matches. Djokovic15-2(88%) on HC and grass. Nadal 11-8 (58%) on clay.

Nadal had no trouble carving up the AO draw when Djokovic was frogmarched out of the country thanks to a corrupt government who admitted in court his exemption was valid but invoked ministerial powers to deport him anyway.

When Nadal saw what kind of form he was in he wanted no part of Novak's AO revenge tour and quickly packed his bags.

Guarantee if Djokovic's visa ban wasn't overturned the mighty Mallorcan Bull would be celebrating No. 23.
