There's always the off chance the kidnapper kept berg locked up for years and years.. It does happen.

99% of the time though, if a girl is kidnapped, she's probably dead after a week or so. It's sad watching a family struggle to hold onto hope.

They said "walter" was reference to a movie.. but youre telling me that they just HAPPENED to "accidentally" create a movie about kodnappimg right around the same time she went missing and named the movie "hi walter" days after a man named walter was incarcerated for murder?

Reddit detective working to prove that it wasn't real managed to find a reference to a small films company on one of the youtube profiles associated with the uploading account, was just casually mentioned in a comment he found. He looked around searching for this company for 3 hours, and found it based outside the area this was all supposed to take place in - found videos from 2009 of the same guy and the same girl acting in other short movies. He didn't actually post the videos he just took stills from the videos to prove it was the same guy/girl and sent the videos to the investigating Police department who cleared him as a suspect

That company has now released a short statement on these other videos apologising to the parents of that girl and anyone else who was fooled into thinking they were real. Kayla remains a missing person.

Had I just seen this video on the Youtube, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine...whetever, I would think it was fake however I first saw this on Fox news and they, of course, reported this as if it might actually be part of the kidnapping. As stated by many miscers it does seem like acting by the guy however sometimes sickos act "funny" and scripted. If it was proven true then everyone would be saying they knew it
