Truth, I had a magpul str or ctr on my AR-15, I forgot which one, it's the one that doesn't wobble around because it has that one thing idek what it's called right now.

Were you paying attention? I wasn't asking you to show me where they cost $0. I was asking you to show me where any seller was "giving away" 25 rd windowed PMags. Specifically because the market for .308 AR mags is subtly different from the market for 5.56 Mags.

These ASC mags are stainless steel, have great reviews, and are only a little more at $11.99

Thanks, Dual. I'll probably end up getting the ASC mags.

Not a bad deal if you like the 552. Granted, as-is, but as long as they aren't smashed to bits, it should work.
Thats a pretty good deal. I like the EXPS 2 or 3 models best but $199 for a 512 is good to go. I've got several rifles that need optics

My LGS is running a special on Ruger Elite lowers - lower receiver, 2-stage trigger system, and Magpul furniture for $200. Should I jump on it?

I forgot which one I ended up picking out. I was looking at a few stocks but the one I chose was either the ctr or str, I really can't remember.

That's about the cheapest you're going to get a complete lower that isn't a blem.

If you call an LPK $35, a buffer assembly $50, and assume that there's $60 worth of magpul furniture on there, you're getting the lower receiver and this trigger for $55.

Honestly no idea. I googled best scopes in certain price ranges and these were two recommended by an article. This will be my first optic with magnification so I don't know squat. Hoping you guys can impart wisdom and maybe some other suggestions to look at.

The mounts look all jank because who was eye relief. That scope is pretty damn far back, a lot of guys shoot nose to charging handle (NTCH) and your eye would be inside the scope doing that with that setup lol how far back does his head have to be to get a good sight picture?

The front rail mount is on the top of the receiver and the rail both which is generally avoided in case the two are not completely 100% locked together with no movement at all possible between them

If the scope was farther forward that front mount could be rotated 180 degrees to be only on the receiver
