assuming your pull up is 37.5 KGs that isn't 80%. You forgot about your body weight (however it is really BW-Weight above elbows)

So assume my BW is 100kgs and I can do 20kg weighted pull ups. ~80% would be an assisted pull up with 10kgs on it.

Also, push and pull isn't the same thing.
